it's a great day without another habit, @JasonGau. One less thing to worry about.

How does everybody feel? My nicotine dependence seems to be gone but I do still depend on the habit. I'm using this Smoky mountain stuff like I used Skoal. Anybody feeling like that?

Also since Im new to the forum is there a place to go to talk about stuff like this instead of under the roll call? I don't want to cloud up the roll call thread which I'm really enjoying. Not just with everybody in the forum but for just the Sultans? Or perhaps Titans.

Cheers and quit on!
Spezia,

I will reply in the September pages, but another good resource is your intro thread...here you can put whatever you want...I'm using Bacc-Off straight but not nearly as much of it as I did Cope. The oral fixation thing is normal especially for longtime dippers. I've read on the threads that a lot of folks use the fake for as many as a couple hundred days...the good thing is it's not killing you! Hope that helps and sorry if I got on your nerves yesterday with the texting!
Hey man, I know it's crowded in roll call, but that's the perfect place to talk about anything you want. There are probably others with the same questions who are going through what you are. And it helps y'all to get to know each other. Fake stuff discussions are all over this place. Best way I know how to say it is to use it if needed to keep nic out of your face. I've only heard a couple people say it was hard to quit later. Personally, I just forgot to buy the fake stuff at some point and it was no problem.
Congratulations and welcome!!!

This site will help you, if you are engaged and post your promise every day (no exceptions), beat one of the most addictive substances on earth. There is a lot of info on here. You can see pictures of men with their faces eaten off with cancer. Or read about how nicotine is such a toxic herbicide that it is banned for that use. You can calculate how many tens if thousands of dollars you've wasted... I could go on and on.

But the best thing about this site is the brotherhood. At first it sounds crazy... Brotherhood on a website? Wtf are you talkin bout man? Well, you aren't alone here. Anything that you are experiencing... One of us has too. And we will do anything to help you beat this monster that big tobacco put out there for us, and we welcomed into our lives. My contact is in your pm. Use it. This bitch is way to hard to fight alone.... You've got brothers here that will make it a lot easier.

Spezia12,

Welcome...you can find the pre-HOF September page at forum/55566/

Find the last post....will have the current date on it; Read through the instructions and it will show you how to post.

Also, read as much as you can on this site about how to deal with the SUCK that you're about to experience. Learn from the veterans around here (guys who've been quit a helluva lot longer than me). They are free with advice.

Check your PM....my digits on the way to you.

Welcome Spezia12! You have come to the right place if you want to be quit. It's one of the hardest things you will ever do and the most rewarding. Freedom from the can is great! Read the Welcome Center and post roll. Posting roll is the key to success at KTC.

First day of quitting and found this forum while searching the internet for support material. From what I can see this looks like it's going to be great. I'm still having some trouble navigating the forum, but hopefully time will fix that.
I'm partnering in the quit with my best friend who smokes but still wanted advice and inspiration from folks who quit dipping.

Looking forward to the quit and the process. Today sucked, tomorrow will too but hopefully one day it will suck less and less. Until then I'll just focus on today.

Your right and found unbelievable support if you use it. Now figure out roll call and get your promise posted.
Welcome to the best place on earth to get quit and "be quit".
You're not here by accident.

We do this ODAAT. (one day at a time)

We:

Post roll (when we wake)
Keep our word all damn day (your word is good, right?)
Wake and Repeat.

Stay here, read, chat, get digits for accountability.
40,000 quitters are not wrong...you're not alone.

remember, 1 problem + nicotine = 2 problems.
Keeping my jaw and tongue...I like them.
