It does seem a little bat shit crazy. Even a little cultish. But go ahead and drink the Kool-aid for a little while. It works.

Thanks everyone I have "quit" a hundred times it feels like. The KTC is just what I need to break this addiction. I hate we are all in this situation but it's good to know so many are going through the exact same things.
First of all welcome! You have never quit just stopped several times. Now you definitely have your best opportunity to QUIT and stay quit. Not sure if you mean stop this addiction or help you along with it? You're an addict just like the rest of us. Once an addict always an addict but by posting roll early EDD ODAAT you can stay ahead of this bitch! Quit on!
Pab is wise beyond his years. Addiction can't be cured. The good news is that nicotine never really did anything positive for any of us. All it did was keep away withdrawal symptoms. You can do this! You can be free! :)

Blackout. Welcome to the asylum. You will find some crazy $h!+ here for sure, but you will also find the most rock-solid, dedicated, awesome levels of support for you and your quit that you simply cannot find anywhere else. For now, you need to read as much as you can about how your brain has rewired itself over the course of your tobacco use. Start here for one of the best primers I have ever read. Drink plenty of water, get plenty of exercise, and rest when/if you can (for me it was like a week before I finally slept through the night without waking up every two-three hours drenched in a cold sweat). Engage your quit group (lots of like-minded quitters in Sept '16) and exchange numbers with them. It's weird, but somehow texting/talking to someone going through exactly what you're dealing with actually works to help pull you through the low points and you will come out stronger in the end. Do whatever you need to in order to keep yourself from breaking during the craves that will surely come, even after the so-called physical withdrawal has ended. Work this program, and I guarantee you it will work to crush your addiction to that insidious weed... Quit on, brother!

It's been a long road to get here but I feel good about quitting. I know it will catch up with me sooner than later if I don't. It will be hard doing things like fishing or drinking a few beers without one but I look forward to this new found freedom and getting to know everyone on the ktc.
