Md l11, you are doing great.  And the anxiety and dizziness is completely normal.  I still remember the first couple weeks having to brace myself against the shower walls - I would get so dizzy.  And the anxiety... well, it took me months to get through it completely.

Like Zeus said, you poisoned yourself for a long time and it will take a while to heal and rewire.  This quitting business takes time and patience.  But it is a journey you will never regret taking.

Just one and you will be back to where you started, and where you started was desperately wishing you were where you are now.

Welcome Mdl11. Dipping is actually a cause of anxiety, not a reliever of it. You will feel calmer as time goes by. Remember, you were poisoning yourself for years, so it takes some time to heal. Think of your current and upcoming discomfort as recovery pains, or growing pains. The freedom from nicotine is well worth the cost.

Hey Brother!

Welcome to the greatest tool you could've found.

I've been on this site for 160 days and I can say I couldn't have made it this far without my brothers and sisters on this site.
You will start to break away from the itches a little but they will always be there and sometimes will be worse that before.

This is a site thats based upon accountability so you will only get in what you put out.
Posting Roll is extremely important it ensures you are staying quit for the day and it lets your brothers and sisters know it.

Attached below is a link to the group you'll be in.

New to KTC...day 4

I’m still trying to sort out everything (how to do rollcall on an iPhone with no F5 button...).  I’m on day 4 of my quit and found this forum a day or so ago and thought how much support plays a roll in cold turkey quit.  I’m a Navy veteran, who had a dip in from rolling out of bed till going to bed pretty much...the exceptions were PT and eating.  My biggest struggle is with my anxiety.  I have severe anxiety and part of the reason I quit is because I finally linked my dipping habits with the lightheaded feelings I’d get.  Now, since I’ve quit I feel almost a little weak on my feet and off balance.  I’m not sure if that’s normal for 4 days into a quit or not, but that’s probably the worst part for me.  The irritability seems to be less on day 4.
