Hello everyone! Well, I just purchased some Chattahoochee herbal snuff to assist with my efforts to finally give up Copenhagen after what I guess is more than 17 years. Just typing that out scares me, thinking about being at work all day without snuff.

I think I'll begin my quit on Friday, taking the day off from work, and then have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to get through the first three hairy days without getting fired from my job for snapping someone's head off. Any thoughts on that?

I should have the herbal snuff by then as well. Wish me luck! I'm motivated for many of the same reasons I've read from others on here. All your successes are quite motivational.

Of course, I'm typing this with a mouth full of snuff! I'll check back in over the weekend, when the fog settles in...the oh so familiar fog. I've managed to quite a couple of times before, but only for 1 week, and then 10 days.
sounds like notgood to me...

Deathcope, ,don't check back into the site. Make this site part of your quit! Come here 1st thing every morning and sign roll. That is your promise to stay quit for that day. Then do it again tomorrow. That is how those success stories were able to be posted.

As far as quitting on Friday goes, no better time than now. Take the shit out of your mouth, flush your stash, and let the NicBitch know that you be hers no more.
he posted this two weeks ago, guess the friday thing didnt stick.... _
Well, ya know that this time of year is stressful so maybe it will be a New Years resolution. But then again, New Years resolutions don't usually stick so maybe in February. But then it's Valentines day and maybe his best love is really the nic bitch.

Or, maybe he just doesn't have the balls to quit and every excuse is a good one.

Well here it is Friday. Ready to post up? Or are there still some reasons why it's not a good day? Maybe the Herbal hasn't shown up, maybe there is some stress around this time of year, maybe there are still 24 hours in a day. It's time to drawn a line in the sand. Flush the can, post roll, keep your word.....period.

Oh, I've given you the reasons not to quit so here's a couple of reasons to quit. (The underlined below are links)

Here's one possible fate of the next dip!

Maybe the prospect of 40+ operations actually appeals to you. Can you imagine how a simple task like walking into a C-store would change with this fate? Think about it!

Welcome Buddy,
I agree with Chewie. Just suck it up and Quit. There is no reason to wait whatsoever.
The best thing is to throw away that can and get on this site, and just start posting and reading, and posting some more.
You will go through some crazy things during the first part of your quit, just be prepared and make the decision to quit. I feel that is the most important part of first quitting; Making the actual real decision to quit.

So throw the shit out, and come in and join us.

??We can't. We will fall!?
?Come to the edge.?
And they came. And he pushed them. And they flew

I won't fall again. I guarantee it

congrats on a great decision to quit -- if you're looking for a suggestion, i'd offer this... quit today. right now. you've still got time TODAY to post a day 1. if you do that, then by the time monday rolls around you'll be on day 7!!! that's a hell of a lot better than a weekend of hell if you ask me. you're going to be a bear whenever you quit -- do it now and get it over with.

we'll be here every step of the way for you.
