Tomorrow is officially day 21 for me. I actually quit around a week before that , but it was important to me to register at a day one to document my quit. If you are thinking about quitting my advice is do it today, join a group, and post as soon as you get up everyday. Your quit will become tolerable after week 1.

Welcome to the community!

I quit when I was 49 years old - and that was 1,225 days ago.  I know my day count because I've been quitting here one day at a time every damn day since I found this website.  You can do this.  If I can you can.  We are never too old to quit.   8)
Thank you and I really needed to hear this right now. The doubt and brain games is really crazy. I appreciate all of you.

Welcome Clary.

It's been said that the only way to screw up roll is by not being on roll. That being said - you did make a couple small mistakes.

You posted in the right section - the "New Badass Quitters" section. The problem - you posted at the top of the section, and the practice around here is to post at the bottom of the section. You also appear to have erased the section title - the "New Badass Quitters" part.

But seriously - don't sweat it. Many of us screw up roll right after we join. I sure did. You'll figure it out soon enough.
I will do better with it tomorrow. I am not great with computers, but I will post at the bottom for sure tomorrow. Sorry.

Yes sir!  I am making myself along with all of you the promise to not use nicotine ever again.  I will take it a day at a time, and yes I keep my promised.  I hope someone will tell me if I post roll incorrectly.  Just trying to figure the site out.  Thanks again.  Happy to be quit with you!

Hell yeah, welcome Clary, since you have been reading the site for a year you should know some of what we do.

Biggest part is posting your promise not to use Nicotine early and every morning.

Are you a man of your word? Can you keep your promise?

That's it, keep your word and do it again the next day.

S. Clary

Welcome!
Good job on making the decision to quit and throwing them cans out.  You've made a good decision and found the right place. Make your promise each day and keep your word. Hold me accountable to my promise and I will do the same.

I have been chewing since I was 13.  I recently turned 47, and to be honest it was time to quit due to my health (High Blood Pressure).  I woke up a couple of days ago and threw away all the cans I had left.  I think I joined the April quit group, but not sure since I am a Newbie.  Thank God for this site.  I have been reading as a guest for the better part of a year.
