Welcome Dan! PM me if you need anything too. Beyond that I'm not sure I've got much more good advice beyond what the others have already laid out.

Welcome aboard Dan. Now that you have been provided with the basic tools to post roll, lets take a look for a minute WHY we post roll. Roll is your daily promise to yourself and all of your new brothers and sisters that you will not use tobacco in any form that day. You will post your name and the number of days you are quit each day in the January 2014 quit group. Each and every day you will post your promise. No exceptions. That is the price of admission to KTC. Nothing more and nothing less. The reason you are put in January is that will be the month if you join us today that you will celebrate being 100 days free of nicotineÂ…your Hall of Fame date. Now, lets get your quit started. Hi Dan, welcome to Kill The Can! Lets hear some more about you - how long you been chewing, when you started, why you decided to finally quit, etc.

In the meantime, here's some links that will help you figure out how posting roll works:

How to post roll:
index.php?showtopic=50

a place to practice posting roll, where it doesnÂ’t matter if you screw it up:
index.php?showtopic=345

once you figure it out, you post roll with the January 2014 group:
index.php?showtopic=8847

Happy to help with anything else, or questions? just post them here.

Dan,
Welcome I see you have two posts I cant find you on roll I think that is where you dropped your other post.

Yep I agree with copingwithoutcopen make this your new home. The time you focus early in your quit will be your foundation you build the rest of your quit on.

Get numbers ask for numbers give your number out it builds accountability and its not GHEY it could save your life. Text people they can text back and when you feel froggy call. Next to ROLL numbers are very effective to protect your quit.

PM me if you need anything

It's simple and only has two steps:

1. Post roll call each morning

2. Don't dip

Neither step is negotiable and that's what you have to pay to play.

Now the difficult part is step 2 and you must read everything on here, get to know as many people on here as you can and get totally immersed in this site. Once you are invested, you will be successful.

Now lets hear more about you.
Oh little worm-dirt...you are so scary...F' OFF...!!!

Make ktc your new homepage. Read everything. Post roll in Jan. '14. Promise yourself and us you won't stuff your lip with a poisonous weed. Keep your promise all day. Get to know the other quitters and don't let them down. Add something. Enjoy the new found freedom and repeat tomorrow.

Welcome! First, go to the welcome center. It's the pink-ish/salmon colored tab at the top. Read everything there and that'll give you a good rundown of the site. This is a straight up nicotine free zone. Assuming that you quit chewing snuff today, your quit group would be the PRE HOF ( hall of fame) January 2014 Nic killers. That's the group that I belong to. We post roll everyday. We make promise to ourselves and everyone here that we will remain nic free for today. We quit one day at a time and we keep our word.

Take a look around and read all you can. If you want to quit putting dirt in your face, you're in the right place.

Are you gonna quit dipping, or are you gonna slide your tampon in?
