  • Interests: I like Bowhunting Deer, bowfishing, shooting, deer hunting, fishing for bass and smallies in local lake and streams. Taking my daughter out in the wild my youngest love to shoot ,hunt and fish. I am a Hunters ed instructor and like to introduce kids to outdoors activities. Restoring old tractors.

Welcome to the site Drifter. You just have to block out the guys around you you need to quit for you and don't worry about them. With that said you are in for a fight trust me on that but all you have to do is quit for today or quit for the hour if it gets bad quit for the minute, you get my point using nicotine is NO LONGER AN OPTION! Being young you have another fight your buddies are going to push on you as well. I they don't respect your quit then they really aren't your friend anyway. Make sure you post your word in your group that you won't use today and keep your word the guys and gals here will help you through your fight they will support you as long as you play by our rules.
I dipped for 38 years Skoal was my poison and I have been quit for 1,002 day because of this place so man up and get going.
Congrats on your decision I wish I would have made mine years ago.

Drifter, first congrats on a great decision, and that you are quitting early in life.

Second, you need a voabulary change, we don't hope here. We quit for today, that's all. We come back again tomorrow, but we worry about it when it gets here. Go read up in the welcome center, explains everything you need to know about posting roll and why we do it.

New to The Forum

Hey, I'm new here. Finished my last can Sunday evening. A little about myself, I'm 19 years old and have only been dipping for about 6 months. All my friends do it and have made It hard to stop before. But I'm done for sure this time. My dip of choice was Grizzly Straight or Copenhagen WG Lc. My reasons for quitting are it gets expensive fast and its really messing with my gums/mouth.Can't wait to get through this craving stage fast and without any slip-ups.
