Hey there.  My name is Charles and I am from Pennsylvania.  I have been dipping for around 5 years and I feel like if I don't quit I am going to end up with mouth cancer.  I dumped my can of Grizzly Wintergreen in the trash can at around 1 this morning.  I have attempted to quit a few times before and I just feel that this time needs to be the last.
Charles,

Great choice! Welcome.

Here is what you do:

Post roll with the February group--go to the pink welcome center link above to learn how to post roll. Posting roll is giving your promise not to use nicotine in any form for that day. Wake up each morning and post roll again. No NICOTINE in any form!

Post roll and make your promise and then you can learn the rest of the program. This place works--I quit 6 months ago!!! I was addicted for 18 years.
After 19 or 20 years using nic, I've been quit 409 days. It can be done. One day at a time. Not much I can say that Souliman didn't cover below. Just remember that posting roll is not just your name on a list. It is a promise to everyone on this site that you will stay nicotine-free for 24 hours. Stick to your word and you will win this war.

Glad to be quit with you.

Welcome Djax. You've come to the right place and you will get a lot of support from this group of quitters.

Click on the "Welcome Center" (upper left on screen) and get to know the site. Post roll in the February 2012 group. That is your promise that you will not have nicotine in any form today.

You can do this. I know it's tough, I dipped for 25 years. It's also very doable.

Okay Chuck. This is the place. We got a whole bunch of folks here that specialize in getting it done. So first off, this isn't another attempt. There is no "need this one" to be the last. THIS IS THE LAST. You have had your last dip. You don't do that shit anymore. Things are going to suck for a few days but hell...you were stuffing poison in your mouth for the past five years. That sucked way worse. We have some standard advice on being successful. Here they come:

1. Read. You've got to educate yourself on what to expect. Start at the upper left with the pink inviting quite feminine "Welcome Center". There you'll get a lay of the land if you haven't already. Then you start reading everything else. Intros, what to expect, HOF speeches. All of it.

2. Post roll. This here is important. We pledge to quit each day. That's how we do it. One day at a time because quitting forever is a tough path to walk. You post roll saying you won't use today. No nic of any kind. Then, you get up tomorrow and do it again. Post roll early to set the day right. And we post every day. No excuses. No "but my grams was on the computer" or "my dog ate my.." that shit don't fly. Don't fuck with the system. You can't get to a computer? You text or call a quit brother to make it happen. You quit group is:

3. Get to know folks. Build up the accountability. Folks here will answer the phone when shit hits the fan. Use it! When things are tough and you're feeling like you need to make a trip to the ole cancer supply hut, you reach out.

4. Get some support in the real world as well. Nothing helps more than having a complete support framework. And that's what we want to do. Do everything we can to protect your quit. So, make it happen.

5. Be smart. Be proactive. Form a plan to protect yourself. Make it happen.

6. Listen to what folks have to say. No one here is special. We are all addicts. We can help.

Welcome aboard. My name is Soul. I'm just one of the many bus drivers on your way to Quitsville.
