Steve,

Congrats on 18 wonderful days...even if you don't think so at this point. It gets gets better. 18 days is HUGE. But the key is turning that into the first 18 of the rest of your life.

That came from posting roll every day for me. No pills, no patches, no bullshit...just quitting. There are probably lots of ways to quit killing yourself, but the only one that worked for me is posting roll and giving my word every day to the bad asses on this site. You can do it, too.

Yes, I have quit again.  Day 15 and doing OK.  Thanks for the forum.  A similar one helped me quit drinking (before I got into trouble) 2 1/2 years ago.

I did the chaw for about 4 years 10 years ago.  Managed to quit cold turkey and it was out of my life.

A year ago I was helping a buddy in New Orleans still doing post-Katrina clean up.  He fell off a scaffolding and busted his ankle badly.  Well, we were all shook up and after we got him loaded up and off the the ER, his can was there on the ground.  Well, I thought what the hell, it used to calm me down so what will it hurt.

Big mistake, I was back on the shit for a whole year.  Figured a blew about a grand on the stuff.  I learned the hard way you can't go back.  Stay strong.
One is too many, a thousand aren't enough. You should know that from the drinking stint. Live Chat is great.
just another reminder that you can never go back. Never. Glad to have you, join the forums and post roll every day. This site works, all you gotta do is join and you'll have plenty of help and support.
Frightening how our minds work. Glad you are here, get involved.

Post your word daily and keep it.

STAY QUIT
