Acting with almost as much speed as cyanide, nicotine is well
established as one of the most toxic drugs known. In humans,
60mg (a drop) is a lethal dose, and death follows intake within a few minutes. Dr. Charles Ksir

The Great Disturbance
« on: January 02, 2011, 06:14:00 AM »
Was the Nic Bitch finding out that my last dip was on New Year's Eve 2010. Yesterday was a real nightmare for me. My head felt like it was removed from my body. The headaches though, were attached to me enough to feel them quite clear.

The cravings come in waves every 30 minutes or so along with the headaches when I don't satisfy them. Did I say that quitting hurts?

Anyway a little about myself.

Started chewing in June 1980 while in Basic training at For Leonard Wood, Missouri. A guy noticed I was fatigued and offered me some Copenhagen to keep me awake. This began a 30 year odyssey of using Cope, Red Seal, Skoal, and finally settled on Longhorn fine cut natural as my poison of choice since its cheap. When I quit yesterday, I was using two cans a day.

I work as a Land Surveyor and enjoy the job.

Anyway, I'm quit of dipping and I'll be struggling through the withdrawals for a while like the rest of you have. My mind isn't working well at all right now so that's all for now.
