The good news is addiction can be beat, one day at a time by going to the April 2016 quit group and posting roll - your daily promise not to use nicotine for 24 hours. Get to know as many quitters as you can, exchange digits and build up a network of support and accountability.
Read around the site, check out the forums for military (past and present) for any special issues from Iraq.
Enjoying the suck, remembering it so you don't have to do it again are good moves. Also drink lots of water, exercise, and bring any quit rage here instead of your family, neighbors, or co-workers.
