It has been three weeks now. The first week and a half was terrible. I was in the fog really bad for the whole time. Tried some of the smokey mountain, but honestly I don't want to have that stuff in my mouth either. I don't want to perpetuate an oral fixation. I am so glad I found this site and for everyone in my quit group. Thank you to the vets who post with us everyday even though they have been quit for years. It means a lot to us. I am proud to be quit with all of you.
Look who just clipped three weeks...nice work, man. Pretty strong posting percentage too -- hopefully your quit is starting to gather a full head of steam, and you have some helpful perspective from the past few weeks to fall back on. Plenty of challenges remain -- for all of us -- but with each day that you post roll and keep your word, you become that much stronger. Keep fighting the good fight.

Keep going on strong man. The fog should end soon if it hasn't already. It's all downhill from here, as long as you keep taking it one day at a time.

Nicotine is an ugly beast. You full we'll understand the power of this addiction. You are now in the right place to take your freedom back. I'd suggest that in the evenings, turn off the TV and spend your time on KTC reading everything. All the stuff for new quitters. Hall of Fame speeches. Other folks intros are also great reading. Intros are also meant to be a trail or record for the quitter. Put your thoughts and experiences down in your intro along the way. Reading the intros of veteran quitters will give you great insight into the journey you have just started. Get all the contacts you can. Make friends here and set some roots down. That way you will be locking yourself in here and ensuring the success of your quit. I know you can do it. Because we are doing it. Proud to be quit with you bro.

I just dipped my last dip about three hours ago. This is it. I've been dipping for 7 or 8 years and lately I've been doing a can a day at work. I'm tired of hiding it. I'm tired of worrying and at the same time stuffing my mouth with this shit. I've quit before but this time is for life.
Great to have you on the May roll, JD -- lots of us just focused on getting through from sun-up to sundown, and we're here to commiserate, be a crutch, and compare what works. Bottom line: do what's best for you, taking into account that a lot of badass quitters have established a pretty damn good playbook for our benefit. Immerse yourself in the site when you would otherwise be poisoning yourself -- you'll find something new every time you check in. Quit on.

Glad to see you posted roll. It's gonna be hell, but if I can quit you can quit. Push forward and use this site in its entirety! Quit with you, erussell day 287.
I would rather lose to a cheater than win as a cheater.

You never quit before... you just stopped for a li'l while.
This time is different... you found us. You stick with the plan, you stick around, and we'll see in you a REAL quitter. One thing to wrap your mind around pretty quick is this "for Life" concept you've got going on.

Stop right there.

Forever is too hard to deal with. Break it down into a much more managable unit... today. Post roll with your quit group and give your word to yourself and us that TODAY... you will be nicotine free. Repeat tomorrow when it rolls around. It's that simple. It works. Shoot me a message if you need some help. Welcome to freedom bro...
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.

Welcome to KTC, Grizz is correct that the KTC system works. But lets do this, just quit for today and today only. Let's not quit for life. That doesn't work. Today is manageable and if its not take it minute by minute. Read, Read, Read, and learn how to post roll in the May quit group. Welcome again, keep updating us and keep your word ODAAT.

Congratulations for deciding to end the madness. You need to read the welcome center and post roll with your group. If you take the KTC system seriously you will succeed. Congrats again on saving your own life.
