Hey everybody,

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Rob and I'm a 19 year old from California. I first tried dip when I was 12, but started regularly dipping about four years ago when I was 15. I've been about a 2 can/week user since then. The longest I've gone in that time without dipping was about a week, but I feel like I'm finally at a place to give it up for good. Part of the reason for quitting is actually a class I'm taking for college credit in which we need to change a health behavior. I know it's going to be difficult, but I'm looking forward to it.

Thanks,

Rob
Hey running back, first of all I commend you for quitting now before all of a sudden you wake up and you are pushing 40 like me and were throwing in a dip every chance you got. It takes over you life and making a commitment now is the best way you can possibly go.

Take it one second, one hour, one day, one week at a time.

I am here to quit with you today!

I really hope you stay here and commit to quitting. Most people here quit when they are old and nicotine has already taken a real toll on their life, family, and finances. If you stay, you will not regret quitting. I see you found your group. It probably feels like a total shit storm. Just post roll and promise not to use nicotine that day. Wake up tomorrow and do the same, one day at a time.

If you want to chat, send me a PM.

Jack

Hi Rob, there are still a few days left for you to start posting roll in the May quit group

I bet dip costs a lot out there in California. Here we quit every day, one day at a time. I went to college too and I don't think a credit would have made me quit. I finally quit myself about 30 years after college. Way later than I ever thought I would - nicotine really sucks. KTC can help you stay quit. Hope you stick around. :)
