I understand missing roll on day 2 was not a good start. I think I now understand how
serious everybody takes things here. This is good. I deserve to be called out, and you all
have made me understand how important it is to treat every single day as if it is day 1. Day 1
was my beginning, but every single day after is nothing different: just another day that I must
choose to quit.

I am serious about my quit. I just completed a weekend vacation with no nicotine. I can't remember the last
time I drove 4 hours without a dip. I can't remember the last weekend that I made it without a can. My stomach pains
have subsided quite a bit, and I am sleeping better than I was at the beginning of last week.

I promise to make roll every day from now on. I will demand from myself the same commitment that you all make every day.
I know how I have started will make it sound like these words I say are just me talking out of my ass. I have some work to do.
It is serious. I'm glad you're still with us! Good work!
Penn, that's it man, just make that promise each and every day. Quit every second of every minute of every hour, one day at a time. Post roll daily and lean on your brothers. We are all here for you.
Nice. Was not expecting to see you respond. Keep grinding every day.
Don't miss again.
Seen you out there in Feb. Hell yeah this is serious. Do you really think we would be lollygagging with a bunch of lollygaggers walking in the park? This is the kinda shit where you have to make decision. Stay quit or not. If not, buried or cremated. What songs do you want sung, who's gonna talk about you. What will they say? Unfulfilled potential because he was owned by the nic bitch? Parents crying, wife, kids. What's it gonna be?

Nice work men. Thats how it works here. The reason why you stopped many times in the past, but only to pick up a can....no accountability. No one looking for you. The roll posting and brother hood here are stronger than steel and are as serious as anything. Glad to see you got the picture Penn.

Keep up the good work, post roll first thing and be active on the site. Guaranteed to make you a bad ass quitter.

I hope you haven't caved. Missing roll on day 2 isn't exactly starting out on the right foot.
Sadly last post was on Friday... I'll PM.

How serious are you about quitting when you failed to post roll on day 2? We take quitting seriously here...do the same, and prove it by posting roll every day.

Welcome brother.

We quit daily here.

Follow the plan here. Read the welcome center. Make some friends. You are an addict. You never quit before, you merely stopped. Failure within the walls of KTC is not considered an option. It is actually deplorable and inexcusable. Don't be a failure. Attack your quit with a one day at a time philosophy. Tell yourself never again for any reason. ODAAT  NAFAR. Accountability + Brotherhood = Success.

Let's see you kick some ass.
Get some digits and get close to your quit group, it can make the difference.

Last Saturday I decided to quit.

It isn't my first time trying to quit, but I am determined to make this attempt successful. I began dipping during my
Sophomore year of college. It was the way I was able to get over the stress of my very difficult major.

Dipping for 3 years has been 3 years too many. I can only hope that stopping now will improve my future quality of life.

I am dreading my 2 hour roadtrip I have this weekend. Long drives are always where I am the weakest :(
Congrats on a great choice! Post roll, keep your word, and repeat...that's all there is to it. Read everything you can on this site. You'll pick up all kinds of knowledge from people who have lived it and know. You'll also learn about addiction. That will no only make your quit stronger, but it will keep you from thinking stupid stuff like tobacco helped you deal with stress!!! (It didn't...all it did was relieve the withdrawal symptom of your addiction).

Also, don't worry about the two-hour drive. When you post roll, you are giving us your word. AND WE EXPECT YOU TO KEEP IT!!! Nobody promises shit about tomorrow, next week or any other day. But for today, nicotine is not an option. Get numbers, drink water, eat candy, whatever you have to do to keep your word. If you can't keep your word, this site won't work for you.

Welcome,
You have never quit before you had a stoppage. When we quit we quit only once we slam the door on nicotine for today only...then come back tomorrow and repeat the process...
