Hey everyone,
My name is Bodie, I'm from Calgary, AB and I've been a dipper for 11 years. I've had thoughts about quitting before but I recently found out that my mom is suffering from emphysema, caused by years of smoking. I guess I had never taken seriously how chewing could affect me later in life, so I made a promise to her and to myself that I would quit on Monday, 6 January 2014.
Anybody have any good tips for me? I've been looking at trying a tobacco-less substitute like Smokey Mountain or Hooch Snuff. Has anyone had any success with either of these?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to being part of this community and hope to meet some fellow quitters.

Secondly let me ask you this. What do you expect to gain from waiting until Monday to quit? Do you think it is going to make it easier because you picked a date? Well bud the answer is no. It's not going to get easier, in fact you are only playing Russian roulette each time you put that shit in your mouth. It's poison man. It causes CANCER for Christ sakes. And you want to wait till monday? Well you asked if anyone had any tips for you, and I got one

About smokey mountain. You do whatever it takes to keep from giving in to the nicotine bitch I. E smokey mountain, sunflower seeds, gum, punching bag anything. Just don't use nicotine in any form. I like smokey mountain WG.
