Damn, over a month away. that's a long time. Hopefully you don't get cancer in that month you could have been quit. I wonder what your parents/girlfriend/kids/family would think if they saw this post.

What a shame.

Edit: Also, think about how much money you're going to be throwing away in the next month, and you just said that this addiction has costed you countless amounts of money..that's a counter statement isn't it? hell i don't even know what the fuck that means. I only have a high school degree which was like 5 years ago. All I know how to do is protect and kill.

But from what I learned in school, if you stop spending your money on something stupid, you would be that much richer...but hey! what do I know?

Congrats, as someone who tried weening myself off and patches, gum, whatever it is is just a crutch to keep you coming back for more. I am on Day 6 of my quit and it honestly is getting better. I don't think about it constantly now and I never want to go through days 1 through 5 again. Get through it and come out the other side better for it!

You won't quit on March 16th. You'll come up with another excuse to keep using. You want to quit? Throw out your stash, post roll and quit right now. Right now is always the best time to quit.
this got me i just flushed my stash and am ready to quit, thank you to all of you though for making this possible for me.
Good Decision! Now buckle up, drink water, exercise, and have a plan for the craves as they come.
Yep, good call.... think about it this way ... if you quit today, by March 16th you'll be almost a month in, and have something more to celebrate on your birthday

Cutting back and scheduling a quit date just doesn't work
Great decision Captain. That only took 4 or 5 guys to get you to buy in. Nice! In a month you will be past the worst and well down the path of freedom.

I had 17 or 18 March 16th's, they always came and went. Then one day I FINALLY listened to some people who quit, and that is when I quit. It sucked at first, and now it is wonderful.

Why not be a month quit by March 16th? $200-$300 richer? A month healthier? This is an all or nothing website, but brother you will meet some fine men and women here who have quit as well.

Man... The responses to follow will be a hammering you pro'ly didn't expect.

See, you're talking and making excuses and "plans" to quit to a bunch of addicts... Us.

And... You too.

Addicts don't quit tomorrow because tomorrow always breeds another tomorrow. You'll find some lame ass excuse like stress, or a hangnail, or constipation, or your team lost, or you got drunk, or you're in a bad mood, or...

Quit now. Post day 1 now.
Be a badass.
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.

not quite time yet
« on: February 18, 2015, 07:26:00 AM »
Hey guys, So I'll fill you in on whats been going on. I started chewing roughly a year ago, It cost me a relationship and countless amounts of money. I'm not quite ready to make the step but I've been cutting back over the past month, So I put a quit date as my birthday March 16th.More or less I want to kick the habit before it gets out of control and I don't want to be known as the guy who always had a dip in anymore but I know it'll be easier on me if I ease off that's why I'm waiting almost a month. Any advice on quitting plans is really what I came here for.
