Hello quitters, this will be my second time in trying to kick the grizzly/kodiak wintergreen habit for good. After 14 years of dipping, I stumbled onto this website the first time, and thought that I ought to take another shot at quitting due to several reasons. I was in college at the time, and I was 3 months into my quit, which was my longest one to date. There was a time when I had to complete a assignment within a few hours, and I had difficulty sitting still, and concentrating in order to complete it, so I caved in order to help me calm down (and it worked), and accepted defeat at that time. I also went back into my addiction.
Now 2 years later, I have heart complications due to me having SVT, and nicotine does not seem to be helping with the condition. I have noticed after 28 days without nicotine that it was the dip that was putting most of the strain on my heart. This is one of the main reasons why I choose to quit. That, and I want extra energy to get things done in the future. So now, this quit is more of "I have to" rather than it me wanting to just because it is an inconvenience. And so far; the information on this site, and the fake dip - has helped me out so far. This will also be the first time posting in a quit group on the message boards. Hopefully, I stay with it this time....
Edit: Edited my quit days for accuracy
