Welcome and Embrace the Suck. That philosophy has helped me many a days. Post roll everyday and make it your goal to never miss. There were so many days during our addiction that we would do anything, anything to get that next dip - no matter what time of day or night. That is now how you must treat roll - do anything in your power to get roll posted and then live by your word. If you do this the days will add up and you will be one badass quitter.

Welcome to the shit show and enjoy the ride. It's a fun one

My man, you are in for a ride. Post roll early in THE day, not early in YOUR day. Get that promise in early and take big nic off the table.

Post roll. Read read read. Water. Read. Walk. Stay busy. Nyquil. Next thing you know Monday is here.

Quit with you.

Time to Change

I was 14 yrs old and grew up watching my mom and dad smoke. No different than most people that are reading this. I got curious one night and took a smoke out of my dads pack after he fell asleep watching the game, I snuck into my room lit it and took a hit! From that point I was in love with the feeling . I started smoking reg. then baseball season came around and I couldn't breath. Thats when i was introduced to mr Kodiak when i was 15.

I started slow like most everyone else... when i could as long as i didn't get caught. Then i go my liscence and it was on. It was easy to come by living in a small country town in rural brown county ohio. Forward 16 yrs........ I am almost 31, I have a wonderful wife and a six yr old son. He asks me " Daddy what is that stuff you are eating? " I say " Nothing just yucky stuff" He responds. " If its so yucky why do you keep eating it?" at this point what can i tell him. So i tell him " I was foolish as a kid and made a bad decision, now im hooked" . He looked me right in the eye and said, " Daddy you can always spit it out and never eat it again!"

At that moment I knew I needed to quit. I came across this website and everything fell into place. I am only on day 3 but already feel accomplished at what I have done. It feels good to smile again! If you are reading this thinking about if you should quit or not I urge you to atleast give it a shot. The guys here are awesome! This quit is mostly about me but my son is playing a big part in this. I WILL stay strong, I WILL stay quit!.

Thanks to Cmark and Wedgie for getting me going! Keep your heads up Throbbin September 2012!!!!!
