To get off the dip...and yes I know its hell....go get ya a bag of Levi Garrett or Redman, and chaw on that like hell..haha, as well get drunker than living hell...telling you it works haha
Hey jackass. We don't switch from dip to leaf chew to quit here. Keep your ignorant ass off the boards until you're ready to Quit.

One more stupid post like this and I will shut you down.

Sorry TK
Hey Nolag how about you stop being a bitch pussy rofl
JR are you for real? Your clearly retarded
You don't quit nicotine by using other forms of nicotine.

Just like when you stopped cheating on your girlfriend by switching to transvestites...... still cheating.

Fuck your weaning off. Your keeping yourself in a long slow state of withdrawl, If you succeed it will be inspite of yourself. But you won't, because your attitude is all fucked up.

90% of all long term successful quits are cold turkey ( American Cancer Society) !! What does that statistic tell you?

All your doing is substituting one delivery method for another... you haven't quit jack shit. The patch, the gum, the lozenge, , cigs, dip. leaf , plug.... all the same drug

THE SAME DRUG

get your shit together.... sorry for fucking up your thread TK I will delete if you ask.

NRT simply doesn't work. Brain dopamine pathways cannot adjust to functioning without nicotine while it continues to arrive. Users don't quit because of NRT, but in spite of it. And, yes, replacement nicotine is both directly and indirectly costing lives.
JR

Glad you found this site. You probably won't read this which is fine and if you do you will prob have nic in your system which is fine as well. There must be something you see in this site or you wouldn't have joined. At the same token you landing on my intro helps me in my quit as I was like you once, a smart ass who thought I knew it all. Now I look at people like you and feel sorry that they are too fucking stupid to understand.

Either way I hope you grow up and realize that you aren't doing yourself any justice with any form of nicotine. On the other hand you may just tell me to fuck off and that's fine too. If you are one of the unfortunate ones to get struck with mouth cancer don't come running back acting like a bitch cause you will just get a fuck off from me as well bro.
Awesome post sir! Just let it out and it helps me with my quit as well. Glad the hear you are using someone else's stupidity to help yourself out.

like SM said... NRT doesn't work I tried twice and failed. Actually dipped while using the patch ... Hardcore dumbass.

PS. Nolaq's got patience... Callin a mod a pussy bitch I wouldn't have even warned the ass.

PS2. I passed my nic test for work so excited!

"CLOSE THE DOOR. In my opinion, it?s the single most important step in your final quit. There is one moment, THE moment, when you finally let go and surrender to the quit. After that moment, no temptation will be great enough, no lie persuasive enough to make you commit suicide by using tobacco."

Day 112

Sitting on the couch enjoying the week off work for the holidays and had me thinking about my quit. I hit the 100 day mark and I realized a couple things.

1) It's awesome to reach a personal goal but truthfully it was just another day.
2) I still get craves and have days that I don't give a fuck what gets accomplished other than not dipping.
3) I have saved a can/day in cash and feel that has added to my drive. I am a finance guy and I guess seeing the cash build up is fun for me. I honestly pull out money every week to put in a box simply to keep the process of it going.

From all of this I have had some up and down days but what I always remember is, I have NEVER heard anyone say " yeah I quit for a while and then failed and I'm so glad I did." So even when there are down days trust me it's a better day than being a user.

I plan to write my HOF speech, but personally not a fan of it at 100 days. I think I need to leave that unaccomplished piece of my quit in front of me for a while longer.

See you guys on tomorrow's roll.

HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS !!!!!
I hear you on just another day, but it also a victory as well. Never forget how much we all win by posting roll and choosing to be quit. TK, I will see you tomorrow on roll brother.

Day 39 Update:

What a wild ride the last 39 days. I can honestly say August 2014 will go down as a blur in my memory for the most part due to my addiction withdraws. But, I can also say the skies have opened and I have started to enjoy life again. Had a week vacation and stayed home with the wife and baby and enjoyed every minute of it and did not experience craves all that much.

To the new class of Dec'14 I challenge you to not think about the future but just rather one day at a time. The future will bring relief I promise, but truly focus on how bad things suck right now so you never forget that feeling.

Tomorrow I will post Day 40 - and with each day added my quit becomes that much stronger.

Happy to quit with all the KTC brothers and sisters.
Nice! Way to go TK!
Kick ass Tony! Embrace the quit, there is no failure ... no turning back!

Enjoy your weekend ... great job quitting!
To my 8/5/14 quit brother, I will post roll with you EVERY DAMN DAY!!! Now back to enjoying life free of the nic.
Thanks all - brad you know we got each other's back. Thanks for all the check in and texts. I know it has helped keep my head on straight through all of this.
