How did he get banned so quick.
Yes, mods/admins... please explain.

Are there lessons to be learned here?
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.

Those feelings will subside. I was exactly where you are 48 days ago. I "quit" too many times to count over my 21 years of using. I only stayed quit at the max a week or so. The difference this time is I have KTC To help....bitch, piss and moan all you want here just don't use nicotine once you post roll and make that promise. Communication with your group and others is vital.
Humbled.

Welcome. Nice job posting roll.

Post roll early each morning. Make it part of your morning routine, and definitely post roll before you would have put in your first dip of the day.

Once you've posted roll, you have made a promise to yourself, your quit group, the supporters in your quit group, and the entire KTC community that you will not use nicotine in any form for th rest of the day.

Make your promise. Keep your promise. It's that simple. Hard as hell, but simple.

Â… there still is that part of me that enjoyed the dip and the routine of dipping when driving, after a meal etc... It was like saying goodbye to my best friend.
Anyone who quits needs to develop a deep hatred for tobacco, and dip, and nicotine, and the companies that sell the shit. Quitting nicotine was like losing a close friend for almost all of us. But nicotine has never done a damn thing for you. It has never relieved stress, never made doing something easier, never helped celebrate, or helped mourn. It has satisfied the craving for itself. Period.

Proud to quit with you.

The Journey Begins

I have been addicted to this stuff for the past 25 years. Now that I wrote 25 years, it sounds terrible. I have tried to quit before but it never worked. This time it will!!!! I have a very supportive wife and I actually spoke to my doctor about it this time. I was prescribed Chantix which I think has helped with the nicotine withdrawal but there still is that part of me that enjoyed the dip and the routine of dipping when driving, after a meal etc. I think the last dip out my can was the longest I have ever kept a dip in. It was like saying goodbye to my best friend. I feel pathetic saying that but it is the truth. I feel like I had a relationship with Skoal. Hopefully the accountability of this site (once I figure it all out) will be that extra push. Sorry for rambling on. I'm glad to be here.
