Doesn't "hooka" involve flavored tobacco?
There is an Indian restaurant where I live and I thought they put incensce (sp?) in there, not tobacco. It looks nasty, but I didn't think it had tobacco or nicotine.
Whatever it is, be wary. If it has any mood-altering capabilities at all, I'd say stay away from it. For me, a big part of quitting was keeping my head in the game and staying focused. Anything that breaks your focus or lowers inhibitions will also open the door for a cave. If you fail, you will loose the support and respect of a lot of folks here. The price willl be high.

I completely quit drinking for the first month or so after I quit. Not one drop. Why? Because even a beer steers me toward the "good ole boy" mentality, and that would have spelled failure.
Radman is right. No reason to make this more difficult...stay away from the hooka and shisha.

As long as "hooka and shisha" don't involve nicotine, knock yourself out. I know what a hooka pipe is, but what is a shisha?

Great choice. Now you might want to go to Killthehookaandshish.org and post roll there, too.

Hey all.  I've been a lurker for a while, just registered today and posted my first roll in the other group.  I've been a cope straight dipper for several years, tossed all the cans today and decided that today is the day.  I used to smoke as well, so I made sure there weren't any smokes or cigars lying about either.  I parted with everything but the hookah and shisha, I think that'll help the quitting process.
What the hell is hookah and shisha, and do I even wan to know?

Anyway. Great decision to quit. If you've been lurking a while, you probably know the standard suggestions to read every thing in the welcome center, and then read everything else. Jump in, listen up, and remember that you never want to repeat day one.

Welcome to your first day of freedom brother! It is hard, but you can do this. Keep you word. I quit with you today.
*Quit today. Full stop. No qualifiers. Tomorrow?... IDK, IDC.
