Without a doubt I am an addict

But I am going to go down kicking and screaming this time before I put another dip in my lip. :D

Hey Brother,

Hit the Welcome Center link (warm soft pink in the upper left). That will give you a lay of the land.

Let me ask you something. You an addict? You willing to fight to be quit?

Hi all,

Myself, I am on day 4 of this wonderful adventure of quitting. So far the only thing I have experienced has been the intense cravings for dipping.

But anywho, I started in high school. For no reason other than I want to, I knew the risks but chose to ignore them. Even the non cancer risks. It got really bad when I went to tech school for mechanics, right around 2 cans a day. (I'm from the oregon coast, where dip is relatively cheap, unlike in California)

After graduating and getting a job, I got it under control. However, a scare came up I had a feeling of something being caught in my throat, sever ear pain etc. Went to an ent to discover that it was Severe reflux caused by my dipping.

The scare didn't even slow me down or stop me, But what has really made the difference is the amount of money I am spending to kill myself, and how much my dental bills have been to fix my teeth from the damage that the dip has caused. And I have dental insurance too!

So long story short here I am.
And here I will stay
