Everyone on this site has gone through what you're experiencing. I think it's kinda cool...in a sorta sick way. The cool part is that there are no short cuts, you can't buy your way out or have someone hand your freedom to you. YOU must EARN your freedom.

You're not alone. We're all here to support you and help any way we can. But ultimately, your success or failure is up to you. The stakes couldn't be higher...you're in the fight of your life.

You and you quit group need to commit to doing whatever you can to remain quit. Share your quit stories, motivation, mutual support...everything. Encouraging others to stay quit helped me more than anything else (I'm even doing it right now...College FB is a trigger).

You took the first step, let us help with the rest. We've all been there...

STAY QUIT!!!
Bean has it right.
There isn't one fucking thing that's gonna be easy. But guess what, it can be done because all of us are doing it. We are all addicts and we are getting it done.
Bottom line brother is that if you don't Quit you're going to die a horrible death. What else is there to say?
We are here to help you. Get active. Read as much as you can. Reach out for help.
YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

PM me if I can be of any assistance.

Brian

This is a helluva post.

very well stated sir.
Yep, well said. That is why we have a bond here. We are all in the same fight. We have all had the shit kicked out of us and choose to fight back. The cool thing is, when you win for a day, your desire is to reach out and help another fellow quitter win. And when you are hurting, there is always someone who has your back. This army of quitters....... you will rely on it more and more, trust in it, choose not to use, day by day. This freedom thing is addictive too! Proud to be quit with ya!

Years,

Hang in there you can do this. I was a slave to the bitch for 25 years - give or take. We all know where you are.

I've been quit for 14 days today, and I can tell you things are better - but, I know I can never let my guard down. I have to post roll every day. Keep that bitch from getting me in a corner.

Don't hesitate to PM me or anyone else on this board or your quit group if your in trouble.
I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you. I always pray with joy.

2nd Full Day: As I sit in front of my laptop, staring right through it I may add. No problem, I get up and walk aroundÂ…. aimlessly I might add.

Nothing make senseÂ…Â…but one thing I do know, This is One Self Centered Bitch to Get off ofÂ…..I was a slave to this shit for 27yrs, and Its still got me by the balls thinking about it every minute of my quit. Fuck, when is this going to end???

Thank God I donÂ’t have any meetings schedule this weekÂ….

Hoping like hell this pain fades quicklyÂ….I want to stay true to my brothers and stay quit!
this is good shit to post in your quit group for all to see. Lets all your brothers know that they are not alone with what they are going through too.

Slowly you will stop thinking about. It will take time. I think I am down to only thinking about it 2-3 times an hour now. But now with 363 times, I can laugh at myself.

Post roll everyday EARLY and if you are a man of your word you will stay true.
