My biggest fears are giving in at some point up the road or just slipping a chew without any thought.
That's why posting roll first thing in the morning is so important - WUPP - Wake Up, Piss, Post.

Posting roll is akin to making the most solemn of promises. Imagine looking each one of your quit brothers and supporters directly in the eye, and promising that you won't use nicotine in any form - that's posting roll.

Do it first thing in the morning for a couple reasons - once you've posted roll, nicotine use is off the table for the rest of the day. Also, when did you take your first chew of the day? I'm guessing fairly early? Posting roll should replace the act of putting a lipper in.

Trade digits with a few of your quit brothers, mine are just a PM (private message, look at the upper right hand corner of your screen) away. If one of those monster craves reaches out and smacks you in the face, send a text or make a call.

This system works if you jump in with both feet, and drink the Kool-Aid.

My day 1
« on: November 03, 2017, 11:50:00 AM »
Well here I am after some 42 years of chewing tobacco and realizing all the carcinogenic damage done to my facial and neck cells. Not sure what will become of that but I have to take it as you say in this website one day at a time. My biggest fears are giving in at some point up the road or just slipping a chew without any thought. I look forward to a life of not being tied to nic attacks and having a healthier lifestyle. So there it is and here I go.
