Gobblegoomaster

your fine, everything you feel is normal. The headache is your brain freakin out that it is getting so much oxygen, (yes chew fucked with that too). Take a tylenol pm and go to bed.

Watch the caffiene intake
Keep your blood sugar stable- a sugar crash will lead to a crave
Keep up the exercise, it will help tremendously.
Go to chat if you need some help
Make sure you have some numbers

It does get better,I promise you it does. At 452 days I gotta tell you it is one hell of alot easier . Your "brain" is going to beg scream and cry for its nicotine fix. Acknowledge the crave take a deep breath and move on. Go read the Tom and Jenny Kern story, look at ODT's cancer surgery, Start reading the cancer and quitter stories, read the Hof speeches. Pick a group that has hit the Hof and read the first 100 days.

Your no different than the rest of us. Your an addict. Start treating yourself like one, a heroin addict makes up the same use rationalizations that you do. Think I'm full of it? Google heroin addiction and look for infor on relapse excuses. I bet you a rubber chicken you can find at least a dozen that match some of the " just one thoughts your having" Your earning your freedom, the suck is the price of admission, EMBRACE IT. Craves wont kill you but dip will.

Oh, as for the ball coddling you wanted? It's ok buttercup, it'll all be alright, bad ole nic bitch pickin on you.??? ahhhhww Sweet pea your ok..

Fuck that, get mean goobermiester this shit is hard so you better get tough

I does get better. Nobody said this would be easy. Your body is getting the poison out, but the first few days suck. In a week, you will feel 100 times better, but you have to work through those first few days hour by hour, minute by minute. All you have to do is make that time pass. Doesn't matter how, as long as it doesn't involve nicotine (or alcohol for a while).

Take comfort in:

1. The fact that the worst of it only lasts three days. You just have to get through them and it starts getting significantly better.

2. The fact that by putting up this badass fight these first few tough days, you are investing in the future. Three tough days traded for thousands of better ones. I can't make you understand how much better the last 20 years of my life would have been without dip. You can do it now and save yourself the regrets so many of us have. Oh, and you are saving your life, your face, your teeth and your gums.

3. The fact that we all have done it, even guys who have dipped for 20 (me), 30, 40 years. We all went through those same three days cold turkey and gutted it out. Your mind isn't telling you you can't do this. That would be the lying whore, the nicbitch. Of course you can do it! We're all proof of that.

4. The fact that you don't have a choice. You promised me and all your brothers here that you would not use nicotine today. You are a man of your word. Your other brothers are fighting the same fight against dip that you are and they are keeping their word to you.

We're all here for you. You've made an incredibly good decision for your life. Keep it up, man up and make this happen. You are quit!

ok so now im starting to need some help guys. So im doing ok now, using sugarfree gum and herbal chew but every now and then, i think my brain is trying to kill me. It keeps saying like you cant do this and just give up now. no one will know....i keep beating it back down b/c I really want to live a "normal" life and actually live to have kids. I mean i've always dreamed of having kids so thats what I keep fighting for but my brain just randomly keeps piping in saying its ok, which i know there is no acceptable reason to cave and i REFUSE to but just some kind words of empathy would be nice....Yah! tell me this gets easier, Im craving so badly right now. Im going to run on the track, ill be back later, gotta go do somethin guys, im going NUTS!!!!

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that Im doing alright. Im tired as fuck, totally can't think straight, and my head feels like its in a vice grip But other than that im super! Ill post later tonight. But while I'm gone, is tea ok to drink or stick to water and juice and try to stay away from the dew as much as possible? thanks a lot guys. Later!
I started drinking a lot of green tea. I chose to drink decaffinated just to keep my anxiety down. Choice is yours.. just go easy on the booze.

so totally off the topic of quitting but has any one ever seen the documentary Sniper:Inside the crosshairs? There was an army sniper in Iraq that took out a target over 13 football fields away. Holy shit! Thats why you don't piss off the US Military!
Didn't see the documentary, but I am a former Marine Scout Sniper. Long range shooting is very cool stuff. The round reaches the target before you can hear the shot.
What is your major malfunction?!?!?!?!
