R we have some similarities there are quite a few of us that are 35+ year addicts. Quitting today is possible. If you have to quit 1 hour at a time do it. Pm me if you need anything.

Yep, Derek is correct. Just quit for today. That's all that really matters. One day you'll look back and the string of todays will be mind-blowing.

I've heard it said that quitting is simple.

1. Post roll, giving your promise to stay clean for 24 hours.
2. Honor ^^^ your word ^^^.
3. Repeat.

It is in fact simple, but not easy. Have a plan for when the tough times hit. Get to know folks here. Reach out if you need anything. We'll gladly help.

Hey - I like the way you are looking ahead, but do me a favor and stop. What we do here that I learned is just look to today. Quit one day at a time. If you do that the days will pile up and the 100 will get here in time. But Focus on today. Make that promise and pledge to me and to your brothers here on the site that you will keep the crap out of your body for this day. Then honor that word.

When we wake tomorrow Lets make that same plege.

After 35 years of being a slave to this crap, I made the decision on 10/24/2012 to be a slave no more. I have dipped or chewed since I was 16 years old. Stopped for a period in college and can't remember when I picked it back up.
