Oh, im ready! As severe as the temptation may be.... i need to quit...i want to quit....im ready to quit! This carcinogen has been a part of my life for far too long and it needs to go.
You can do this.

Post roll as a promise to you and to a group of people that you will not stick that shit in your lip...that you will not have nic be a part of life anymore.

But, that's a lie...nic's going to be with you and a part of your life for a long time to come. You've said it yourself, you've "quit" many times...you, and those of us posting here, are junkies. We return to that shit even though our mom's are hygienists, even though we promised our wives, kids, brothers, etc.

This time is different, though, you're going to quit everyday. You're going to promise to us and promise to yourself that you're going to make it the next 24 hours...then...you're going to promise again, but don't worry about again, yet. You have to uphold your promise for today.

Keep your integrity. Be a man of your word. Do that, and you'll earn the respect of your fellow quitters (even if your name is a weak-ass Candandian beer)

You got this.

I have been a long time dipper....since high-school. I am currently 26 (almost 27) and have been an active hockey player since i was very young. I was first introduced to dipping through my uncle...not directly....but he was an avid dipper and athlete through college and he was my idol growing up. So, needlesstosay...i followed in his foot steps. I live a very stressful life....working full time and a full time grad student and dipping has been in my life for far too long and i have decided it is time to kick the habit. I have tried to kick it before and found that as long as i am pre-occupied....i can go a week or so without a pinch. Actually, i was in a long term relationship and kicked the habit for almost 8 months....but when unfortunate events occurred, i caved. I am very aware of the repercussions of this habit and it is sad to say but my mother is a dental hygienist. Now that i am reaching my late 20's and wanting to start a family, i have decided that i NEED to quite this horrific habit/ crutch in my life and look forward to joining this group!
Okay. You're ready. What are you willing to do to stay quit?

Check your (Inbox 1) upper right corner of your screen.

If you decide you are willing to do this, post roll. keep your word. No matter what.

Period.

If that is too much for you to commit to, move along.
