Thanks Tuco's Grill, I wont be at the vise or on the river for at least another month but I am positive both will be a real bear but I know I can get through it!

On a side note, had a few beers with a buddy on Saturday night at the local watering hole and didn't realize until I got home that I didn't have a single craving the entire time. That got me really fired up!!
Nice job noticing your win! Keep stringing them up, the more you notice how things are better, the easier and more incentive to get through the hard times. You're doing it!
Be sure you make a lot of connections here- get numbers, etc. That plus following the program will seal your success!

Thanks all for the replies, I was in a haze for good part of yesterday 'Crazy' , just chompin seeds for now when it gets to bad!
Grab a hold of something, and buckle up, because you're in for a helluva ride. You think it's bumpy now? Just wait.

The good news is, this shitty part passes. It gets better. I mean WAY better. I can't say for sure when, because everyone is different, but I can say, when you get on the 'other side' of this shit, it is worth it!

You won't regret Quitting. Ever.

Stay strong, stay close, and Stay Quit!

Welcome to the best decision you ever made.
Flyrod it will suck my friend. but if it were easy, every body would choose to save their life wouldn't they? good for you man. we are all rootting for you!! quit once a day one day at a time and hang on tight. use the site and all of us and youll be fine
some other advice:
go all in
drink the kool aid
burn your bridges
post roll first thing, every day
lay off booze for a while
stay away from Jeeptruck, he likes fishermen
All that, and one more thing:

Despite what your brain might be telling you right now, it is possible to enjoy fishing without having a cat turd in your lip. Same goes for tying flies.

Great choice to be done with the poison! Getting free will not be easy, but you can do this, and it will get better! Keep reading KTC, and get involved here. The more accountability you build the better. PM me if you need anything.

Hello all,

I have decided that today is the last day I am controlled by the can!
Most of the times before I tried using the gum and that always lead me back to the can.
My longest quit was 6 months and that was over 6 years ago. My most recent attempt was in March of this year and I failed after only 3 weeks.
This time for whatever reason feels different than all the rest, ITS TIME!!
I have been soaking up all the info on the site over the past few days and that has got me even more motivated.

So to the poison pushers over at American Snuff Co. I say 'Finger'

Glad to be apart of this group

Good deal. Now go post roll in your March 2015 group. If you've been reading around the site for a few days, you should know that posting roll is the price of admission around here. The rest we can tackle one day at a time. All it takes is you giving your word and keeping it.

Until then, tight linez and smokin' dragz, bro.

You need to understand that you've never quit.
You just stopped. Every now and then.
For a little while.

You're here now and that changes. We don't keep trying. We DO.
It's that simple.

Rdad said it above... Own this. If you want to quit, you will, and nothing will stand in your way. Breaking free from an addiction takes work m'man... But the payoff is spectacular!

Welcome to freedom... It's pretty damn cool.
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.

Welcome to KTC flyrod, you have made a great decision. Just over a year ago I woke up one day with no place anywhere in my mouth to put a dip in that wasn't sore. I looked in the mirror and knew it WAS TIME too. You can do this man. Learn how and why we post roll EVERYDAY, read everything you can here. OWN your quit!

I will be looking for your roll post in March 2015. You can learn how to post roll in the welcome center. Or another brother smarter than me will explain it to you.
