hey, i quit january 1.  on my fourth day without and doing pretty rough.  i started dipping in the army and have been about a can a day for the last 3 years.  I want to quit now.. my wife and I have a baby on the way and honestly i'm sick of saving bottles just so i can use them as spitters.
yep. Been there. keeping bottles around just to spit in. Fucked up. We've all been there. We've all been where you are right now. Be vigilant. You will come across moments where you will say to yourself "fuck it.... I've gone pretty long without this shit. I can grab a tin." You can't. Don't do it. Do NOT fall prey to the whispers of nicotine. You made a decision and you are four days in. You can NOT give up now. The physical addiction is gone. The only thing left now is your WILL. If you have the WILL to be quit, then you will be quit.

Congratulations. Welcome to the suck. This needs to be your home away from home. This needs to be your homepage.
Hang in there you are succeeding! Each day is a battle of the war behind you. One thing worse than saving those bottles is getting tired of spittin' and gutting the shit you'd been spitting! Yea and I'm not alone many of us gutted our spit. As a 40 yr addict I've been swallowing for many years. With support here quitting is so much easier!

The love you get here is conditional. The condition is that you are quit.
