I lied. I had my days mixed up. It's only been 18 days.

Oh yeah I did try to post roll but I guess I did it wrong.

Thanks for the welcome.

Been 20 days now. Haven't dipped yet. I found an empty can in my shop. I picked it up and thumped it. Holy crap that was the wrong f ing thing to do. A jones hit me and I ate a box of fudge bars.

I've been looking at this site for a while before I quit. This is a great site.
What kind of fudge bars?

Hot damn Matt great job so far! Shit loads of Matts getting their quit on of late... Proper response to finding a tin empty or otherwise is to knock that shit to the ground if it isn't already, then jump in the air as high as possible and land one one heel dirctly on the can hopefully shattering it into pieces. Continue kicking the can untill rage has subsided. Sweep that crud into the trash. Do not think of that poison fondly, it is a killer. Do not lovengly thump finger on can, hit it with a knock-out punch! Otherwise you sound like you are winning :D
Matt's right, we call it our Matt patrol around here and don't let any one of us catch you not posting roll. On a more serious note, you are dealing with nicotine the most addictive drug that I have ever used and probably the most addictive out there. It's the devil, believe me and you know this yourself. It's still trying to wrap its tentacles around my ass every day, but so far I'm winning. I'll look for your roll post in October quit group if I'm not mistaken. I quit with all the Matt's today!
Matt, saw you posted roll on the Oct 13 link... Nice Job! Check out my post on the link - that is how you should post roll tomorrow. Takes a few times to get it right, but read the directions a few times and you'll get it.

Only comment is I noted that you mentioned below that you "Haven't dipped yet". Need to dump that sort of language. "Yet" means that you plan on it at some point. You have to commit to this quit ODAAT and you have to want it bad to make it stick.

Matt, You have come to the right place. I was hooked on kodiak for 12 years. The first week or two are rough. Hang in there. Read the stories posted here. You'll find that many have shared the same experiences during their their quit.

Post roll in the October quit group and promise not to use nicotine in any form today. Check your inbox for my contact info and let me know if you need any help getting started. Reach out if you have any questions. The people here want to see you succeed.

Congrats on getting this far. You can get a ton of support on this website and a lot of it is there for the taking in the welcome section. Be sure to read some of the intros and the most important thing is post roll every day (starting with your day 9, post today in the October HOF quit group page). PM if you have any questions I can answer. Also get your digits (exchange numbers for texting or calling when you want to use, to get immediate support). Take it one day at a time and stay quit!
