MY name is Marty. I started dipping when I was 13 years old. The only time I've ever stopped is when I went to boot camp at Parris Island, I should have never started back. I quit on Dec. 31 2007 at 11:58 p.m. I just poured my cope down the toilet and flushed it. it's now Jan 1st at 9:22 p.m. and I'm wishing I hadn't, I order Hooch on the internet and pray that it will be here soon, if any one has advice for me let me know, I hope i can do this and not for my kids and wife I'm just tried of Copenhagen having control over my life.
You've made a great choice! It will not be easy but being quit is so worth the pain it will take to get there. I'm sure that in order to get through a lot of the drills they threw at you on the Island, you had to take it minute by minute. Use that same idea to get through this. Read the What to Expect when quitting section of killthecan.org. (Most underlined things on the site are links)

Go over to April 08 and post roll. Roll is your daily word that you will not dip for that one day only. Then post roll again tomorrow.

Here's a couple of other links to help you build some motivation.

http://whyquit.com/whyquit/A_Gruen.html I carried this picture with me for quite a while when I first quit. It reminded me that this would be my fate with dip.

http://www.outdoortexan.com/warning.htm If you think that it can't happen to you, check out this link from one of the members. ODT will probably be around tomorrow.

Welcome to suck. More importantly, welcome to your quitting family. If you need anything, ask.
I've always wanted to save a life, so I started with mine.
