Welcome.
Good on you for making this decision. Quitting, and staying quit is about the hardest thing you will ever do.
I would challenge you on one count "I will post within my quit group as soon as I can."
How many times did you wait until you could to buy a tin? I rarely waited to buy a tin. I can't tell you how many times I was late for work, or late for an appointment because I had pulled over to the gas station or convenience store with time I didn't have to buy a tin. How many times I was late getting home because I took the long way so I could pump that last little bit of nicotine into my system. How many times I sat on the shitter 10 times longer than I had to so I could get a quick dip in. I always found time to feed my addiction. Now I always find time to go to my quit group and post roll.
You need to get into that mindset. Posting roll is more than just something you do casually when it is convenient. It is a solemn promise to everyone in your group, posting support, and everyone who is part of this community. Posting roll is an action that should replace putting that first dip in, or buying that day's can.
If I sound preachy, it's because posting roll is what keeps me quit. It is among the most important things I do every day. Once you get good at it, it takes 30 seconds to do. And, until you get good at it, don't worry about screwing it up. The only way to screw up roll is by not being on roll.
Again, welcome, and I am proud to be quit with you.
