Well hot damn then let's hit it running. Drink lots of water and get some daily exercise regiment to blow off some steam and collect your thoughts. It won't be easy, but come on here and read and post when you are struggling. Welcome aboard Ben and I quit with you today.
Quit 8/14/12 and taking my life back one day at a time.

If you don?t control what you have access to, what you have access to will control you.

I?m trying to remind myself daily it?s not the absence of conflict that determines whether or not my relationships are healthy. It?s knowing how to handle the conflicts that will arise.

Character is who we are, not who we pretend to be. It's better to be shaped than to be fake.

I'm 19 and I have been using tobacco for about 3 years. Started with cigarettes, but has been dip for the past 7 months. Trying to get the edge on it before it gets me. Finally stopped and asked myself why now isn't as good of a time to stop as any. Tired of lying and hiding it from everyone around me. That's some weak bullshit. I am now on my 7th day of quitting and it feels good to hope that this will be the time that I conquer this addiction. Really glad I found this site. This addiction isn't really something that you get much support for from the people in your life, so it's good to find it here. This is my first night on the site and I already have been given a lot of advice and even phone numbers to call or text when it gets ugly. In a nutshell, I am ready to tackle this addiction, vulnerability, and lie head on.
