Welcome AJ! Nice job posting your promise, now keep that promise today. Wake up tomorrow and repeat. Drink a lot of water, exercise until you can't exercise anymore, reach out and make connections on here with other quitters on here build brotherhood and accountability. Use fake, seeds, gum, candy, I've heard of people using cotton balls dipped in hot sauce, whatever it takes to keep that shit out of your mouth. Reach out if via PM if you need anything!

This is my first post:

I have been dipping for 10 years. Got hooked on the stuff in college. I have tried to "cut back", switched to pouches, came up with every excuse why it's ok to just use it a little bit. But one dip here, leads to one tin there, and sooner or later I'm back at it everyday. I have tried to quit completely before. A few weeks, even afew months, but always seem to fail. Last year about this time I visited this site and it gave me the inspiration to try and quit again, I lasted 6 months but failed. I didn't fully commit to the group. Told myself "I can do it alone, I don't need anyone". I was wrong. This time it has to be different. Got a new addition to our family on the way and that little kiddo is going to be counting on me to be there. So I am all in this time. Flushed my last can and I AM GOING TO QUIT. No more later, no more next time, no more excuses. Let's do this.

Welcome aboard sir!

You've posted your promise today. If your word is good, and your intro sure looks like it is, then today is in the books. As soon as you wake up, post roll. Spend a lot of time on here. Get numbers. Ask for help. Give help. Build a team.

You are really going to like the freedom from nicotine. It is a feeling that can't be described. The pain is worth it. One day at a time... You can do this. If I can help shoot me a pm. This is the best decision you've ever made.
