  • Interests: Outdoor activities, riding bikes, taking my English mastiff for a ride, and eating now that I have quit. Food has become comfort to me right now and I will probably have to ask the vets help on that to.

Thanks for the support guys. It really does make all the difference! It is ruff right now. Taking me an awful long time to type a sentence. 'bang head'
You are going to feel foggy for a little while and sleep will be a hit and miss thing. when I first quit i would only sleep about 4 hours a day for the first two weeks but it will get a lot easier. Never let down your guard though and stay quit. There are a lot of people here that will support you all the way and if you need anything don't hesitate to pm.

Buckle up and get ready. Get mad at yourself. Post, keep your word and do it again the next day. I'm a 30 year ex-dipper and I'm 154 days clean. You can do it but you have to do it for you! Welcome to the quit!
Hey RWM I still remember you were one of the first folks around here to enourage me. It meant alot I promise. I felt solace in knowing that another 30 year dipper could do this.

Well, here I am. 'help'

Started dipping at 12 and now 37 so... 25 years of being controlled by a friggin' leaf.

I was planning my quit today and was nervous all night just thinking about it. The only time I'm not putting that disgusting crap in my mouth is when I'm eating. I even put a fresh one in when I lay down in the bed because I have trouble falling asleep without it.

I have faced many battles in my life and accomplished things that seemed impossible under my circumstances but this will be my biggest challenge yet.

Thank you all for the support.
Way to go copperh!!! ! Head over to FEB 2011 and post up with your new brothers. Lots of supporters will help you through your quit.

Post roll daily and you will get through this one day at a time.

I will send you a pm with roll instructions.

This is the best decision you have ever made I promise.
