Josh,

Congratulations on making it through the first week of hell on your own. You've made a bold first step into a new world.

Advice now is to ask for help and lean on people going through the same thing as you in the Pre-HOF quit groups. Your's would be June 2019 https://forum.killthecan.org/index.php?topic=1080.0, so head over there and post that promise One Day at a time (ODAAT). Exchange digits, stay close to the site and use the advice of quitters who've been through what you're going through. Happy to give you digits if you need them, just send me a PM.

Day 8

Well today makes 8, 8 days since my preacher was talking about being a slave to habits, addictions, and the other things that we let take control of our lives. It really struck a cord with me as I walked over to the trash can and dropped 1/2 a can in the trash. The rest of the day wasn’t too bad as I kept myself busy. Then it was back to work and then the triggers started, I ate lifesaver mints like it was a last meal. Thank God the cravings have eased off a bit.
