Thanks for the welcome to the community. It's been an eye opener and a relief to see a solid support system. I'm on my 4th day now, was a 1.5 can a day Grizzly longcut/wide cut wintergreen guy. Went cold Turkey and just bought some smokey mountain/grinds today. Smokey mountain is working the best so far because I can chew on it. Somewhere along the line I began chewing my grizzly dip, or speed dipping as I call it. The actual physical chewing is what I keep getting an aching to do. It's my first time quitting, I have been dipping for about 4 years but was a menthol smoker for around 10 years before transitioning to dip. I've loved dipping but God has put it in my heart to move on/grow up from this addiction. When he says move, you've got to move. So here I am!

Welcome to the site,

You've made a great decision i quitting.  I, myself, was a Grizz, LC WG dipper, 3 cans a day and 31 years.  I see you have mastered posting roll already, so good on you for that.  Keep your promise, come back tomorrow morning and promise again.  Just keep repeating daily.

While you are in here, exchange phone numbers with other quitters and begin to build your accountability and brotherhood network.  Those numbers also give you instant access to support whenever you need it.  Send me a private message if you would like my number and I will happily oblige.

Get involved in your group and read all you can about your addiction.

Proud to quit with you today,

Chris aka chris2alaska
Thanks alot Chris! I'll definitely continue to post role, accountability seems to be crucial to this journey! I'll get familiarized with some others in my group as well and establish some sort of support for myself and see if I can offer the same for other members. Feeling confident, cheers!

If you want my digits, just ask and they will be yours, but I expect yours in return.
