Hello group...I found this support vehicle and wanted to join as a means of accountability as well as support. Reading many of the posts has given me perspective and encouragement so I appreciate everyone communicating on this process.
My quit date was 8/1/19 and I have since been using a lot of substitutes and trying to avoid my triggers. Unfortunately, all of my triggers are what I love..being outside, playing golf, working in the yard. Seeing that I am not alone in those challenges helps so thanks again to everyone that is sharing their story.
Hi
@rblack ,
I just watched you post your promise in November. Nice job, you nailed it first time
(except for "Quoting" the wrong day. Be sure you quote the most recent roll post). Now you just need to keep your word for the rest of the day and come back here tomorrow morning and repeat. We Wake Up, Piss, Post (WUPP) every day (weekends and holidays included).
Start exchanging digits (phone numbers) with the other quitters in your group and some of the vets (mine are available for the asking, just send me a PM). Those numbers will be your lifeline if you need instant support, they are also the beginning of your web of accountability and brotherhood. Keep them with you at all times.
Congratulations on making the best decision of your life. Proud to quit with you today.
Chris
But, the most important thing is your are on the roll. Getting it posted correctly will come with practice. You did great for the first time.
