Today marks 100 days since I woke up in the morning and started my four-hour drive to work by dumping the remainder of my tin out the window, while barreling down the highway.
I’ve been addicted to nicotine in one form or another since I was 12 years old. I’m 39. I’ve spent 27 years smoking, chewing, stopping, starting and getting addicted to nicotine gum.
My promise today is that I’m 100 days into forever; the new forever I am forging for myself each and every day I stay quit. My forever is without nicotine.
I owe this to my wife and six children, but most importantly, I owe it to myself.
I would like to thank my good friend
@Evilginger for introducing me to this forum and supporting me all the way along. I would also like to thank
@rvwade04,
@MuleMan and then rest of the Kai for keeping me honest during this first 100 days.
