Welcome, @Never again. I can't tell you anything you haven't already been told. Cope gave you the keys to the kingdom and your freedom by showing you the way to the September '21 quit group. That's a new group, so there may not be that many people in it yet. As such, if you want my digits, just send me a PM with yours. KTC has a simple, yet highly effective formula:

Brotherhood + Accountability = Success

It works. Just trust it, and take your quit one day at a time.

Welcome @Never again. copequit gave you excellent advice and the link to your freedom.

I moved your post to the introductions section here since it seemed to be the more appropriate place for it.

I’m not sure how the forum works and do not know if anyone will see this but I have been chewing daily for 16 years and have had enough. 6/11/2021 will be the last day I will ever use nicotine. If anyone reads this and has advice on how to use the site please message me. Also any advice on how to stay quit would be much appreciated.

@Never again Congrats on making a great decision!  We have all been where you are.  1070 days ago I was there and thanks to KTC I have stayed quit one day at a time.  The concept here is pretty simple we WUPP (wake up, piss, post) our promise in a quit group based on our quit dates.  You will will be in the September 2021 quit group and would quit with others that are going through the same things at the same time.  Head on over there and post your name and day count on roll to make your promise for the day and then do the same thing each morning first thing.

Make sure you start drinking a ton of water and try to get as much exercise as you can.  That will help tremendously in the beginning.  If you haven’t yet, check out Knowing what to expect here and here .  When you get over to September share your digits with some members.  It may seem strange at first, but it is what really helps with accountability.  I will send you mine by pm, never share your number on the open forum, only by private message.

Now jump in read as much as you can and hang on.  It’s a wild ride but so worth it for the freedom from nicotine!
