* Sit Back, Relax, and Quit

Hey, it's Josh.
You may know me as joshthel0ser, JTL, JTW, JTD, the self-appointed boob guy (or Joe, as someone once called during his distraction by my avatar 'boob' ).

I had no intentions of doing one of these, and honestly, I'm not sure this qualifies as a HOF speech. Which is fine, I just wanted to say some shit.

I'll admit, back when I first quit, I really did think 100 days was a big deal. I thought, "Well, if these guys hype it up, obviously, it's important." And while I do still think it's a significant milestone in one's quit, it is just as important as every day leading up to and following it.

As I've said before (without giving much detail), I quit for my already shitty health. I'm aware that I don't know if I've packed that lip that will lead to that dreaded diagnosis. I don't know if I've smoked that cigarette that'll kill my lungs. I don't know if all of that secondhand smoke has done that already. What I do know (and am glad I realized) is that I'm trying to make today better by not putting that shit in my system. I'm too young to be worrying about a lot of the stuff I do, and don't need the list to be longer.

Kinda rambling now..

Bottom line, stay the fuck away from nicotine and tobacco in any and all forms. It's not fucking worth it.

If you're reading this and you're considering quitting, do it. There's zero reason not to. Read the title of this for instructions.

I want to thank the January 2018 F.U.R.Y. for listening to my random shit, laughing at my amazing sense of humor, and just being there for me.
And thank you to everyone else that has reached out and supported me in some way.

Quit Like Fuck.
