* Quit for life
« on: September 03, 2008, 01:01:00 AM »
Let me start by apologizing for posting my HOF speech a few days late. Thanks to a persistent friend Mergs I realized my mistake today. Between work and my impending wedding I can barley think straight?

My story like many of you began while I was sitting on the couch one night trying to get one last chew in before I went to bed. I suddenly realized how fucking stupid this habit was and I immediately goggled “quit chew” and stumbled upon this site. It was a perfect fit for me, a place where accountability mattered. I had chewed for around ten years and was up to a tin a day. I had always promised myself that when I was done playing college football I would quit chewing, well after a brief pro career I was still chewing strong two years later. I always had excuses why I could keep chewing but it wasn’t until I found this site 100 days ago that I actually took quitting seriously.

I want to thank all of you for your support, although I wasnÂ’t the most active poster, IÂ’m extremely appreciative of what this site has done for my life.
