You came back and actually posted roll. You already proved me wrong. I thought you were gonna be one of the many one and done, young gun, tough talking, bitch boys who disappear after they realize how hard its gonna be to quit.

Wanna talk about getting your ass kicked for being stupid, I got my shit handed to me for my intro. Go read it, I posted how proud I was of myself and that the patch was working. Lmao I am so glad these guys busted my balls that day. I am 189 days today bro. Might have been different if they had coddled my balls for me. You get it though, you are on edge, and we understand your pain, we all went through it. Keep your word, proud to see your name on roll. I quit with you.

Well I see you got your roll posted, that is the single most important thing we do here that is the cornerstone of being quit. You post roll to promise yourself and us that you will not use today only. Wake tomorrow then repeat.

Read read read listen learn there is a ton of info on this site that will teach you about the enemy NICOTINE. Oh ya this sucks ass I know embrace the suck remember how bad it SUCKS and know you never want to repeat it...NAFAR never again for any reason.

PM me if you need anything. You are young success rate is low but it can be done if your mind is right.

Trauma out.
Also glad to see you made your promise on roll call today. The reason you've been beat up on is because the longer we've been here the more Weak ass pussy addicts we've seen sign up with good intentions (very honest good intentions) fail to make it past the first couple weeks let alone 100 days. This journey you are joining is a bitch and (take it from a old bastard) will take all you've got to be successful. One day at a time (ODAAT) is more than enough most days!

Have you posted roll? I may have missed it, but I didn't see it. Posting roll is the FIRST step...even comes before insulting the folks on this site. Click on the Welcome Center link above and start reading. Learn how and why we post roll...then do it. If you need help, just ask.

I love a good rager post...tells me that you're doing it right...that you are deep in the fog. And while you're posting roll, click around in the other Quit Groups. Not just your own, but other months and years. All of those folks are fighting the Nic Bitch everyday. Every last one of them has been (or is) right where you are right now. And every last one of them will take you at your word, and will unconditionally support you. And, they'll do it for free. All of us.

So, spare us the "fuck you's" and tough talk. We've seen it all before. We've heard it all before. Talk doesn't impress us...we know better. We want action.

So, post roll then keep your word all day. Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next day...etc. You can do this, brother. And I want to hear all about it in your HOF speech.

Well, I am glad to see that you came back! Yes I was one of those assholes who "politely" pointed out to you that you were not yet fighting this addiction. If you only knew that I wish I had the pleasure of having someone kick my ass and take the shit out of my lip at 22 damn that would have saved me from a bunch of stuff.

My brothers Jlud and Rick already laid it out there, post roll daily and become a Quitter. As you know I will be here watching and will be more than happy to help out if you need it.

Yes I was harsh, but you have to be if you want to beat this.

Hey everybody,

Threw up an intro yesterday and got a lot of flack for it (deservedly so; i didn't explain myself very well) so I'm back to redo it.

Im 22, been dipping since i was 16. pretty much a can a day.

Been thinking about quitting for a long time now, and always promised myself that i would quit by the time i finished school (which is in december). We'll I've been fuckin up lately in a lot of aspects of life, and decided to make a change and start following through on commitments i made to myself.

I posted yesterday in my intro that I packed my last lip and got a lot of flack for it. Now all the chest thumping, "sack up" "flush it pussy" "you're not ready to quit", not necessary. Thank you, immensely, everyone for your concern and support.

I know its not gonna be easy, but I am committed to doing this. Didn't sleep for a minute last night, can barely think through my headache but I'm good. Poison leaving the body is how i look at it.

Anyways, almost a day into quitting now and its FUCKING BRUTAL. I got the nuts to quit, and for those that doubt me, respectfully fuck off.

Support is more than welcome and needed. Im sorry if I'm testy or a little on edge, i think y'all know why.
You'll have to accept the "chest thumping" it's just kinda goes with the territory here. The reason being is that we absolutely without a doubt HATE nicotine around here. We were all slaves to it, regardless of how long. Hate for the beast keeps our quit strong, so when someone new saunters in bragging about his "last" lip full you may understand our strong reaction.

Post roll, keep your word and you'll find more support than you can imagine.

You'll also want to stick with one intro , don't worry a mod will merge the two later. It will help you reflect and record your journey as you progress.

I'll quit with you today.

Great decision to quit, Well. Welcome to KTC!

I guess I missed your other intro, but if people on here doubted your ability to quit when you still had a lipper in - it happens alot on here, as you'll find out, and 99% of the time, we never see the person again because they couldn't hack it. So dont take it personally, because it really is not personal! You wont find a more supportive group of folks than you just found here.

You can find all kinds of great info on this site as far as what to expect today, and in the next several days. Best thing to do is to have hard candy, spits, gum, and fake/herbal chew on hand to help get you thru the early quit. Its a bitch, not gonna lie - but it can be done, believe me.

Did you figure out how to post roll? if not, thats step 1. Read the pinkish "WELCOME CENTER" link near the top left of this page and get started! Let us know if you have any questions, or need a phone number.

There is no "1 more pinch". There is no "I'm quitting when this happens". You take what you have, dump it and quit now.

If that scares you (which it obviously does, or else you would need that "last pinch") then you don't want to quit.

I am 22 as well, using all kinds of tobacco products since age 13 or 14. It is a good age to quit so get serious and come back when you are ready to stop killing yourself.
