You might consider being more diligent in posting every damn day and documenting your quit - if you can 'commit to it' I mean

Plus you owe the brothers you betrayed an explanation!

Cimer-

You're in the SUCK right now. Turn the tables on the Nic Bitch and DECIDE to enjoy it. Embrace the suck. It is the feeling of your recovery. Really try to feel what you're going through.

Nobody gets free just for the asking. You have to work for it. You have to earn it. Nobody can do it for you. No pills, no patches. It doesn't matter who you daddy is. Nobody can write you a note. There are no shortcuts.

But you've taken the first step. Let us help you with the rest. You have tons of help. Look at the rolls...not just your own quit group, really look through them. Look at how many bad-ass quitters there are. Pretty fucking cool, huh? Guys just like you...guys that had the balls to declare they are quit.

Then think about the poor sons of bitches who are sitting on the sidelines too scared to get in the ring. Clicking on this website...maybe reading this message right now....and too fucking gutless to do what you've done. Yes, I know...you're on Day 2. So fucking what?!!! You're miles ahead of those too scared to join you.

I wouldn't give a squirt of piss for their futures, but you're different. You stand to be counted with the bad-ass quitters. Your sole focus is staying quit. You gave us your word so when you posted roll. We didn't ask for payment. We didn't ask who you know, or how much money you have. We said, welcome brother....we quit with you today.

I look forward to reading that you posted roll in the morning. Stay stron, stay quit, brother!!!

Mthomas below me pretty much said it all.

If you really want to quit, you have to want it. You need to learn from the pain and the feelings you are going through. Doing so will remind you of what the poison does to your system. Soon the pain will diminish and you will be left with a clear head and a disdain for all things nicotine.

This site will help you quit. Follow what we do and YOU WILL QUIT. That's the bottom line. I sent you a message, look in the upper right corner for Inbox (1). And make sure you check out the Welcome Center. It should answer most of your questions. When it comes to posting roll, you will do so in the August 2012 Quit Group.

Hit me up if you have any questions. Glad to be quit with you.

Cim,
Welcome to the fight of your life.  This is the greatest resource to get help.  Go read Hall of Fame speeches, other intros.  Go and learn how to post roll call in you HOF group.  You can do this.  Get some phone numbers of fellow quitters...those whom you can call/text if you're having a bad day, or a bad crave.  PM me if you wish.  I'll be there 24/7.  You will find a lot of support here.  Lots of tough love too.

Spend as much time here as you can.

Drink tons of water
No Nic replacement therapy!!
Exercise

Don't fucking cave!!

It is so rewarding when you see that sun set on another successful day without the bitch.

Again, welcome.
Many people that have regard for you would wish that they could take the pain from your plate. If only you didn't have to go through the detox. I once had a leader say, "mthomas, if I could take all your hardships away from you....I wouldn't."

There is so much soul searching, so much determination and learning you develop going through the pain of this.

Cim when a true quitter or should I say, the real quitter that wants to be done once and for all comes here....I wish for them two weeks of absolute hell, pain and misery.

I had it and never, ever want to go through that shit again. Now that I am on the other side, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

I am more resolved in my quit, more determined to dismiss the cravings and more resolved that this is a lifetime war but I am fighting and going to win my war for today only. When tomorrow comes I'll focus then. Today I am 100 percent quit. A frogs ass isn't as water tight as my quit today.

Amazing what the walk to Freedom does to make you never want to go back in bondage.

You are in hell and I hope you hate it, I hope you have pain and misery and do a lot of soul searching. When you realize this is hell, I also hope you don't stop but keep walking. If you always remember to keep walking, you will walk out of hell shortly.

Now try to dismiss the pain and beat the shit out of your fucking nicotine habit! Hate it, don't entertain it. If you crave stick and move. "Not Now, Not Today, I am quit!" Should be your battle cry and you then need to do something to take your mind off it. Or come here and constructively talk about it. If you can't get the thought out of you mind then think about all the shit it put you through. All the lies, fears, money. Soon the temptation becomes annoying. The seduction is no longer a mysterious women because she lifted up her skirt and there is a big soggy penis staring at you.

It will become gross and discussing. If nicotine was a person, I would kill it for the sake of lives. This is poison, this is evil and I am proud to be quit with you.

Hey nic-bitch. Another one quit your sorry ass! One more quitter noticed your tits are sagging and your penis is wagging. ewwh! Oh by the way, I still have scoreboard on your ass - 63 to 0 you sorry ass lying cunt!!!

Day 2 and Struggling
« on: May 15, 2012, 05:10:00 PM »
Thanks for all the support  resources you guys put on this forum/site. Things really suck right now, but I am GOING TO QUIT! I would appreciate any words of encouragement or suggestions you may have. I chewed Copenhagen Long Cut Straight daily for a couple years now, and other types on  off over the last 10 years - I want my mouth back!
