One thing you guys are overlooking is this....

He joined the site November 23rd, 2014... and he only has 3 posts?

He's not ready to quit IMHO.
Well, two of his posts are right here, so i'm guessing his first post was roll call on 11/24 - unless his other is roll today....

Seems we're missing a step though, Grizz m'man.... If you indeed joined in november, and in fact posted roll at some point, you gotta getcher ass into your old group and own up. Then you can begin the process of reclaiming your life. Your 23 years old. You have an entire world of freedom from this shit ahead of you. Dont waste these resources. Own them and love them and become the man you want to be while your life is still in front of you.
All 3 posts were today. None of them were roll.

Grizman, the price of admission is roll. Is our daily promise to not use nicotine and it is a key component in the equation quit. brotherhood +accountability =quit. Post roll with us and all you've gotta do then is honor your word.
Great point bass. No roll posts. Why should we help you grizz?

The love you get here is conditional. The condition is that you are quit.

Don't you Fucking ghost on us Grizzlyman. I stood over my toliet on new years day with a full un-opened tin in my hand for a good 10 min before I finally flushed it. After sitting there unable to flush it I realized that all those things I told myself about quitting whenever I want and I'll just wait till tomorrow was a bunch of bullshit. Now or never. You could ignore this and continue chewing until your on your deathbed. Your choice.

After being clean for a little over 1 month I had just moved in with my girlfrieND of 3 years and have been living with her the whole time I've been off the dip. I had a massive panic attack about being stuck in the apartment, having no job yet and a pain in my right ribs. I've always self medicated with nicotine to keep me calm and from absolutely freaking out. I finally broke down and had a lip after a very terrible bout of anxiety... I feel horrible. Any advice brothers? On anxiety management and how to hate the one thing that keeps me from going crazy? I feel so weak because I couldn't keep it together.
First off you need to be quit, flush your dip,and whatever other nic filled crutches you use. Then head over to the welcome center and read up on how to post roll. Then head over to April '15 quit group and post. There are tons of people here who have been through exactly what just happened to you. You can quit and we can help. Congrats on making your way to Ktc.
Nicotine does not have positive medicinal effects and it isnt actually calming you down, it is likely a contributor to your anxiety attack. Are you ready to take your freedom back? If you have serious anxiety issues about other stuff then go see a doctor, but tobacco is not medicine. Its your addict brain making up reasons/excuses to continue to use.
True, unless your girlfriend dips, or even if she does, get rid of it ALL! Flush the emergency can, get rid of the dried up cans in your truck, tell the neighbor kid to not give you any, and write a bad check at the tobacco store if you have to. You have to force yourself out of caving at some points.
These guys are more qualified on the quit front then me, but if you have issues with Anxiety and/or Depression there is a forum section for that in this section Getting my act together. Also in that section is a meditation group. It's pretty empty right now, but I can tell you from personal experience it helps a ton with anxiety. Take back control of your life.
