Rock on brother!
Teamgreen, that's the mind set everyone needs to have when they quit to be successful....I see it over and over, people want to quit, but they always leave a door open to go back, or an excuse to fail....how many times have we all stopped only to go back??? What is different this time???? My freaking mind is set on quitting, I will quit and stay quit, no matter what comes along... These A-holes on this site just make it bearable at times, and i know that if I need help everyone of these guys would be there and have been there to help....

BTW! You are rocking your quit!! Keep up the great posts!
I have that mindset on this, my LAST quit. I've tried to quit 3 times this year but now I've found this place and I know I can do it now. Five fucking years, 1/5 of my life I was a slave to that bastard. NEVER again!! I have you guys to answer to now, I'm not in this fight alone. [/QUOTE]
Well then Rock on Twinsfan!!! And Congrats on the two weeks!!!

And in the Wildcard section there are forums for working out, loosing weight, cutting down on booze.  We are just a 1 stop shop for all your quitting needs.  If you ask nicely there is a dude here, greg40, who will dutch rudder  you also.
Haha, I'll have to pass on that and just stay quit. Last night my buddy and I were working out and he had a Snus in while we were lifting... Made me even more motivated to quit
Shoulda dropped a dumbell on his nutsack.
Man, I hate to say this, but I'd be lying if I said I never quit a little bit early on a workout because I wanted a dip...looooooossssseeeeeerr!

I know a lot of people that smoke and/or dip, so I made it part of my mindset very early in my quit that what other people do has absolutely jack shit to do with me. I can honestly say, seeing the stuff doesn't tempt me at all. My jacked up noggin' messes with me some times, but nothing outside of me can touch my quit.

Done on 4/10
« on: April 22, 2010, 01:16:00 PM »
Hey guys i just joined the group yesterday. I feel that reading this has already helped a lot. I thought once I got to the second week it would be easier but it's actually harder. My sleep schedule is fucked up and the cravings are pretty extreme. I quit in March for almost 2 weeks but started right back up with a bang.
I was chewing a tin every 2 days when I started back up and I didn't realize how bad it got.
My reason for quitting is that my gums are receding pretty low on my front teeth and I've decided enough is enough. I already feel like I've woken up from a 4 year coma thinking about my health. I've started working out regularly and don't feel like boozing that much.
Well thanks for listening to my rant and I will try to check in on my lunch breaks as much as I can
