Hey Eric, (Jay and all the other December Quitters)

Just wanted to introduce myself so you know someone else in the Decemeber group as well. On Day 6 of quitting an 18 year addiction and finally understanding what the vets are talking about and that it does get better. Looking forward to continuing this journey with all of you. Just PM if you need anything. -Cas, (posting roll under Lo Sprk).

You and I are both in the same group here. We are in the December group. Do the roll call thing and look forward to seeing you here!

Jay,

Good to know someone in the same group. If you need anything, my email is azchief32@mac.com...I usually catch those pretty quick.

AZ,

I am also 39. I quit 130 days ago. You no what? I watched football all day yesterday and did not think about dipping once---did not have one crave or urge. I enjoyed myself in FREEDOM.

Do you want that FREEEDOM? Do you want HEALTH?

Simple:

Step One---Post roll with the December group every day. Make your promise every morning NOT to use nicotine in any form.

Step Two-- Use this site and your quit brothers as your crutch and HELP--read everything and become educated on your QUIT---stay invovled---help others!

Step Three-- Let your BODY/MIND heal itself. This will be painful, but eventually you will watch football all day with FREEEDOM.

Does that sound like a plan---You can do this. Don't let this weed kill you! Man UP!

Pm me if you need anything!!!!

Hey, Day 4 for me. I also am 39, and I woke up last Wednesday and said to myself "what the F@#% are you doing??" It really sucks right now, but today was better than yesterday. Never did I think I would suffer through a loss from my favorite football team without a huge honker in my mouth. We lost, and I am still quit. My team lost, yet I am the winner. Crazy stuff. You and I are both in the same group here. We are in the December group. Do the roll call thing and look forward to seeing you here!
^^^ WINNING!

Hey AZCHIEF32,

First of all what's with the 32? Is that how old you tell everyone you are?

Anyways, just wanted to say that you have no doubt made a bad-ass decision my friend. Great things come to those who Quit. Now, I am not quite as seasoned as you are at this thing called life but I did start using nicotine when I was 14 and continued to do so for about 8-9 years. So I feel ya. I always say hooked is hooked though. 25 years vs. 8 years...it's all the same Hell.

YOU CAN DO THIS....say this to yourself right now...."I.....CAN.....DO.....THIS"

You see, we expect perfection in here. Nothing short of it. Why? Because we know that perfection in your Quit is the only way to break loose from the grip of the nic-bitch. I haven't checked to see if you've posted up in December yet or not...if not DO IT NOW!

Hit me up if you need anything.

What's up Quitters...I am 39 years old and have been dipping since I was 14. Yup, had I been married, this would be my silver anniversary. 25 fucking years doing this. Now, folks, that is commitment. Committed to spit cans, bottles, empty cups with kleenex. I loved it so much that I was willing to wake up every morning (as I get older and feel less invincible) and wonder if this is the day I get cancer. Now its time to be committed to something else. So thanks in advance for listening to any bitching and whining that I probably will let loose on some of you and I promise I won't roll my eyes too much when you bitch to me.
