Well done, Junkman. One of the moderators will send you instructions for posting roll shortly I bet. You're doing great...I don't think I could spell my name on Day 2.

Take it one day at a time, read all you can on this site, and you have nothing to worry about. Vent, rage or whatever on this site. We're here to support you and get you through this thing.

Just stay strong, stay quit and live nic free.

Hi all,
I am on day two of my quit and found the KTC site over the last week and did a lot of reading while on vacation.  I have yet to post roll and find my quit group, but I'll get to it in short time.  The main thing is that I am tobacco free now and haven't left the door cracked open for the future (i.e. if this doesn't work, blah blah blah).  For now, I just have a big group thanks that this site exists and for all of the good information on it that helped me to make that firm decision in my head to quit as opposed to the should's, will try's and ought to's that have been in my head for the past 20+ years. Here goes the fun part!
welcome junkman. click on "quit groups" and then click on "may 2011 HOF." that means you will hit 100 days (Hall of Fame) in May 2011. that is your quit group. don't delay. posting roll is the most important thing we do. it's your promise to us that you will not use nicotine that day. we don't worry about tomorrow until it gets here. so go on over and post your day 2 and be a man of your word. glad to be quit with you.
Having your head right when you quit is so important. knowing that no matter what hell you are about to go thru, nothing is more improtant than quitting nicotine and staying quit. I say this now because it gets crazy and you'll hear voices and some of them will help you and some will try to pursude you to go back...KNOW THIS AS FACT!

When you quit, You walk a little taller and more straight. Your Word takes on a new meaning.... You CAN do this!

Welcome
