Yes I live in the county the lion, tiger and bears story happened. That story caused quite a stir in our area for along time, it's sometimes hard to have an intelligent conversation about it. Some people have very strong feelings about it and don't want to listen to reason.
It's great to see all the replies from the Ohio guys here, Go Browns!

Newbie here from Defiance, Ohio. Place is about 50 miles west of Toledo, smack dab between there and Ft. Wayne, IN.

This site has already proven it value to me. We live with a water well and it went dry today, in the middle of trying to figure out what the problem was I could feel the need for a dip and it kept building as I was trying to figure it out. I the middle of this Mark from this site is texting me wanting to know why I haven't posted roll today, initially I was a little put off because "I'm busy!",, I collected myself and texted him back, I tried to fix it with his directions and in the mean time forgot about the water problem for awhile, feeling a lot better.  Long story way to long, my water is fixed, leaking toilet, and I passed another test from the bitch!  'Finger'

The problem is not the problem.  The problem is your attitude about the problem.  Do you understand?

Where you at in Ohio, man?

I'm in the Massillon/Canton area, and so are a few brothers here. Wherever you are, I guarantee there's one of us that is close.

Life sucks sometimes, and I'm sorry to hear about your accident. However, that's a pathetic reason to go back to a physically addicted state. To be a successful quitter, you must close the door on nicotine in all forms. It cannot be an option no matter what the circumstances.

The good thing is that you are here, and you are quit.

We post roll call in the good times and bad, and right now, it sounds to be "goodish". Roll call is a reminder in the good times that nicotine is not an option. Roll call is a reminder in the bad times that nicotine is not an option. Some days are easier to quit than others, and life sometimes makes that complicated.

Keep it up.

Learn from the past.
Quit for today.
Fuck the future.
In the end I Surrender, I and I alone accept that I have and always will have a Nicotene ADDICTION. It is my choice to quit, but I can't do it alone. I get to go down this path one time, I want to do it right. I recognize that my word, my integrety to you is on the line and is only as good as my actions. Caving is not an option in this plan-Eafman 7/11

I am not cured. I will quit one day at a time. I will continue to do what works. Posting roll everyday. To do otherwise would be foolish on my part. You can do this-Ready 12/11

To overcome your addiction you must comprehend what it means to fail-Razd 3/12

Theres a lot of people that come here, especially vets, that WANT to be reminded that they are addicts.-Tarpon 6/12

Just as a building starts with architectural drawings. Your daily quit begins with a promise.-Scowick 2/13

Here and now, focused on today, minute by minute, whatever it takes, I promise to all my bros and myself not to become a negative stat and stay quit!-krok 1/15

I want everyone to be quit. Even the assholes.-Probe1957 1/18

Ignoring history or erasing history fixes nothing and leads you inevitably down the same path.-69franx 04/30/2021

Thanks for the welcome, and thank you to the members who have sent pm's. I'm still going strong, my wife has changed tactics on me this time, in the past when I tried to quit she was the bad guy telling me no. This time every time I say I want one she says go buy a can. She put the burden on me and I think it's working. It's a bitch, I never thought of myself as an addict until I started reading this site, addicts were others that used illegal drugs and drank too much, not me I just used snuff. It bothers me to think I've been an addict for most of my life, it pisses me off.
I am quitting this time, the bitch will not control me anymore.
One big thing for you is to make sure you are quit for you not for anyone else!

This may sound selfish and well it is but as long as you quit for you then you only have you to blame!

Great choice this group will help you over the hump. Next time you are faced with a trigger or massive crave you will have the tools to deal with it. The site works! Receiving help is only part, extending a hand to a fellow quitter in need is often more rewarding.

I have dipped for over 25 years, it's hard for me to believe that but it's true. I have used a can of snuff per day for as long as i can remember. I quit once for 6 months and was doing well, I had a problem at work, I was hit head head on on the interstate, the first thing I did was hit my buddy up for a pinch. The last pinch I had was June 22, 2012 and I feel really good so far, so good about quitting that I find myself wondering why it isn't hitting me harder than it is. I still want it, if it was in front of me right now I would find a reason to sneak a dip.
I am confident I can make it!
I am glad I found this site and will continue to use the resources here.
Good choice by another Ohio guy! We Ohio guys have to stick together!

The first few days suck bad I will not shit you but we say embrace the suck and you will never want to go back thru the funk and fog of those first days!

Follow the advise that has been given to you so far and really stay close to the site you will read some good inspiring shit and some incredibly funny shit that will make the craves go away....

PM me if you need some numbers or have any questions brother!!
