1. What happened - I found another almost empty tin and broke my own will to stop and come on this page and instead put one in
2. Why did it happen - chewing tobacco is addictive and I didn't come to my support group to fight it
3. What are you gonna do differently this time - get involved in the page more often and discuss with people whenever I feel like breaking

Man being a slave to this addiction sucks. Taking control is so hard...at first. But it gets so much easier. Being a member, an active member, of this community is the only way to master it you help others - you help yourself. You give - you take. But you have got to join and post roll and take your lumps where you've earned them

Answer please (and I gave some hints above to what successful answers are...)

1. What happened
2. Why did it happen
3. What are you gonna do differently this time

^ yeah, what he said. Where the hell are you? Posting roll and making that promise has to become a priority. Half-assery quitting doesn't fly around here.

I quit with Beast every day, so let's see you on roll today so we can quit together. Just curious why your account is so old? Glad you are quitting and not lurking anymore, that shit will kill you.

Well done Twit....you've made a huge decision about the future of your life....now its up to you to execute and make it happen.....Your are an Addict and the first step is realizing that.....You need treat yourself accordingly and not let your addict mind convince you to do something you know isn't right - (ie..put that shit in your mouth again)....The most important thing we do here is post roll...we do that every morning and as soon as we get up....By Posting Roll you are making a promise to yourself and every one of your supporters that you will not use nicotine for that day...You will repeat this every day....Wake up / Piss / Post Roll  that is what gets me thru the day.

At the beginning of your quit:
*drink shit loads of water / go to the gym / stay busy
*the nicotine should be out of your system after 3 days of quit....keep flushing your body with water
*stay busy....STAY BUSY...any thing you can do to keep your mind off of dipping
*find something to substitute for the oral fixation - seeds, gum, hard candy, fake stuff....what ever works for you
*come on this site and read as much as you can...lots of good stories about Bad Ass Quitters and their fight against the evil weed
*at night - go onto live chat and kick around
*post support in other quit groups - start with March2015 - we will be watching you from this point forward
*get to know other quitters in your group...exchange digits...start building a network of accountability....not one quitter has been able to this this alone - you will need support

Bottom Line....you have to want to do this for this to work.....you can't be quitting because someone else wants you to quit....It has to be You

Post Roll Every Dam Day....Make your promise early
Despite all my Rage, I'm still just a rat in a cage.
KTC is a Team Sport....There will be no Individual Events today
This is the dumbest fucking thing I've read here in a long, long time. - Nolaq

When you wake up, go to the March 2016 quit group and post roll. Exchange digits with the quitters there... it's early in that group so plenty of quitters who have been around the block to talk to in the support area. More new quitters like you will join up -- get their digits when they do.

The best day to quit is today.

Twitman,

Good Morning and Welcome! If you want to quit you're in the right place. From now on don't worry about tomorrow, Only focus on today. Look, we quit one day at a time around here, ODAAT. There is a more support at your finger tips then you can imagine. I've been quit for 64 days now because of this site and all of the bad ass quitters here to help. Your first few day will not be easy. When the cravings hit, drink water, eat beef jerky, chew sunflower seeds but keep that shit our of your lip. Get on the live chat and vent, that what its there for. Welcome to KTC, where everyone likes a quitter!

Getting Committed
« on: November 24, 2015, 05:42:00 AM »
Hey guys!

I lay in bed most nights think maybe I'll quit tomorrow and convince myself the first part of the day but usually end up breaking. I've decided to introduce myself and post roll call to join everyone! Time to get some sleep before my first big day.

I've chewed for almost 3 years now and I chew usually around a tin a day. I look forward to stopping and having my first thanksgiving without chew in a while!
